Hi. I'm Kala Gaines, a mother of four beautiful children. I like to consider myself a " cleanaholi," and I love to help others. I've been housekeeping for 2 years part time and would love to do it full time as it's not a job to me. This is something I love to do. Soon I'll obtain an actual license. If you or someone you know needs help with your home, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you and God bless.

"The cost was part of the insurance settlement on the move. Their responsiveness took a while. They repaired the couch that you would not know that there was any damage at all. There was only one worker and it was the owner. He was good. He was fine."

"These guys were super professional and had great people skills. They set the appointment as soon as they could, only 3 days from when we first spoke. They showed up when they said they would. They were fast and precise. Even helped move the couches for me. Price was so much better than other companies that I priced. They used an industrial machine with 200 degree water temp and disinfected the entire house! I would use them again in a second! So kind and cuteous!"

"Great service, called when he had a cancellation, so I would not have to wait. Steamed the carpets and used a special spray to work on spots. Mike even helped me move furniture. Quick, efficient. Looks fantastic. He got up so many spots with that steam cleaner and special pre-clean spray. Mike was easy to work with and straight forward. I would highly recommend him and would use his services again. Thank you."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Regular filter changes, professional servicing, and checking for airflow blockages improve performance and longevity.

HVAC pros recommend that you replace your AC filter every one to three months to maintain optimal indoor air quality and ensure your HVAC system operates efficiently. However, factors such as filter type, household size, and environmental conditions may influence the frequency of replacement. Regular filter changes help prevent debris buildup, maintain airflow, and prolong the life span of your air conditioning unit.

It’s not customary to tip HVAC technicians, and most professionals won’t expect it. However, it’s a nice way of showing your appreciation for the work they do, especially if they come out in inclement weather or on a weekend or holiday to fix an emergency issue if your heat or AC goes out in extreme temperatures. A good tip would be between 10% to 20% of the total bill, depending on how above and beyond the tech goes for your repair and on the total cost of your HVAC repair or service. For something like a routine tune-up or scheduled maintenance, tips aren’t expected.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

Simple filter changes can be done DIY, but professionals should handle motor repairs, sensor issues, and airflow problems.
