I'm fairly handy around the house. I changed out the shower head and re-caulked the tub, and installed a new faucet (same model) on my second laundry sink in the garage with no problem. But I could reach behind that one from the side. The one in the laundry room is blocked on both sides by appliances, so the only access is from below. I tried, but having to be on my back on a hard tile floor with neck problems and crud falling down in my face, I quickly realized I'd reached my limit, and it was time to call a professional. I'm sure that particular work with the limited access to the sink is not Jim's favorite part of his profession, but he got the job done at a fair price. No need to look elsewhere if you need a plumber. I will recommend Jim to my real estate clients!

"I called late on a Friday afternoon after my air went out. They came after hours, installed the new unit, and took the old one for evaluation & possible repair. A year later I called them back for another ac problem (different unit), and they came same day. Whereas another contractor told me to junk the unit, Greg replaced a small part & all was well. While with me the second trip, I mentioned several other small jobs, and they got right on them! The vent hood took a trip into the attic and up onto the roof, but they figured out the problem and solved it. This hood was damaged during Katrina (12 years ago) & Ive had several companies out to look/repair and nobody was able to diagnose problem. Now I have my hood back! Repaired two ceiling fans that I'd been told to junk, repaired a pendant light wired incorrectly by another contractor, and even replaced some light bulbs in my 12-foot ceiling-ed rooms!
