"Great, Dustin was very through in his initial inspection, he included pictures of the areas I couldn’t get to. He also pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed and offered to fix those at no charge . That’s Right- NO CHARGE!! The blown-in insulation included a pest deterrent They also put mesh in all the weep holes to seal out pests and rodents. The crew arrived timely, and they were all very professional and courteous. "Having A&H come out and completely redo our attic insulation and air conditioner ducts felt like Christmas! Dustin is so friendly and a great person to do business with. "Called at the end of October and made and appt for Oct. 28th. We were told that the price would be $200.00 but that they would offer us the coupon rate of $175.00 after asking if we had a coupon, which we didnt. We got a call from the office Friday the 28th stating that the technician scheduled to come out had to go to the hospital and could they reschedule. We told them sure, no problem. They reschedule with a date of Nov 1st at 12:00 pm and my husband verified time as he works the afternoon shift. He called me with time and date to mark the calendar. On Tuesday the 1st he called me around 1:00 at work and said they had not shown or called. I told him to call them and and see what was going on and that we would need to reschedule. He called and we were then told that they had Wednesday, Nov 2nd on their sheet or our appt.. He told them that he had been told the 1st and that it was too late that day anyway as he needed to get ready for work. They were due out around 11:00 or 11:30 on Wednesday. My husband called me again Wednesday when they were an hour or so late and I told him to call them again to see if they were on their way since he had to be at work by 3:00 and if they werent to just cancel and I would call someone else. He called them and was told they would be there soon. They did arrive and as far as their work, it was done timely and well and my husband said they were very professional and seemed to know what they were talking about. When it came time to pay the bill he told my husband it would be $200.00. Since we usually pay in cash we always have the correct amount for payment before anyone arrives. My husband told him that we were told $175.00. He asked if we had a coupon and my husband said not that he knew of and the tech stated that they sometimes give the coupon rate when booking the appt. so that would be fine. We understand that things happen beyond our control and we had no problem with the first appt cancellation but with the other problems with times and dates of appts and trying to schedule around to make sure my husband could be at work on time, we felt that follow ups and/or phone calls to let us know when someone is running late would have been the proper thing to do. I also feel that the coupon rate or any rate quoted to a client should have been noted somewhere on our paperwork so that there was no question as to the amount we were to pay."

You’ll want to locate all areas in your home that could be a potential entry point for mice, such as doors, windows, vents, baseboards, holes, and cracks in your home’s foundation. Don’t forget to check less-obvious areas like the attic, plumbing and sewers, and even the roof and gutters. If you check these spots and don’t find any signs of mice, consider hiring a pest control pro to dig deeper into potential hiding spots.
Naturally get rid of gnats by luring them into a homemade trap with sweet-smelling items from around the house. Cover a bowl with plastic wrap, place a paper cone in a jar, or simply leave a wine bottle with a bit of residue on the bottom. Each of these traps will attract remaining gnats and keep them from spreading.
You’ll find that phorid fly larvae breed in moist, decaying, organic matter. When trying to locate a breeding site, thoroughly inspect the following places in your home: drain pipes, trash cans, garbage disposal, pet waste, rotting produce, plants, compost bins, and even under appliances like the stove and refrigerator where moist food may have dropped. It’s also possible for a breeding site to form inside of a wall, crawl space, or under your home’s foundation.
Stay calm and avoid acting like a threat. Avoid swatting at the wasps or yelling, which will agitate wasps and make them more likely to attack. Instead, move away at a slow, steady pace in one direction, getting as much distance between you and the wasps as possible.
Wasps swarm to protect their nest, so moving far away indicates you are not a threat and they should subside. Do not try to handle a wasp nest filled with agitated wasps. Wait until they call down before you take action, or trust in a professional.
If the nest is on or in your home, you should have an exterminator remove it. However, if the wasp nest is in an area of your yard that you don't frequent, you can leave it alone as long as the wasps don’t bother your household members. Wasps are very active during the summer months, but they will vacate in the fall and not return until the following year. So, if it's safe to do so, you can leave it, but if it poses a threat of being stung because it's in an area that you use frequently, consider having it removed.
