"WOW! Father/son team Ricky & Daniel were amazing! They showed up early, always smiling, and worked to make two 30 year old houses look like new- inside and out. "The most professional company I've ever delt with! Turned our house into a home! I called 13 contractors and Monge Remodeling gave me the most in depth walk through and project scope. He didn't try to cut corners or upcharge me. He was fair and true to his word. We had an old flip house that felt hopeless but now feels like a forever home. He replace beams under my house, replaced my subfloor, Leveled all the floors out in the home and installed vinyl flooring through my ENTIRE home. Painting over wallpaper is an efficient way to cover it if it’s in decent shape. Before painting over wallpaper, make sure the surface is clean and smooth. You may have to remove minor problem areas, such as lifted seams or small peels, with a sheetrock knife or putty knife. Add a latex- or oil-based primer to keep moisture at bay before painting. You’ll likely need two coats of paint to cover the area.

You shouldn’t need extra adhesive for peel-and-stick backsplash tile. The adhesive on the back of the tile sheets should do the trick. Once again, contact with moisture is the culprit here, though water-resistant varieties of wallpaper are less likely to become wet and develop mold. Using a high-quality exhaust fan or dehumidifier and leaving the doors or windows cracked after bathing will keep this issue at bay. 

Accent walls can feel out of place or distracting if not well designed. Accent walls that don’t fit in with a room’s style can feel jarring or overpowering. Some accent wall styles can also feel dated, but fortunately, it’s easier to update a single wall than an entire room.
