"The signed contract was for $10,000. Paid $6,000 deposit. Once work started, as per his request and the receipt he texted me, I paid him $4337 for paint. He stopped working and started asking for more of the balance to be paid. I told him I wanted the paint I paid for delivered to my house, then I would discuss a payment plan. He kept asking for more money, did no more work, and then quit responding. I have a transcript of our texting during the project as well as copies of checks and receipts."

"In 2017, we had some issues with our fireplace where it came out the roof. American Men Roofing (AMR) was contacted, gave us a free quote, performed work on time, and cleaned up after themselves. After the recent storm (October 2019), I contacted AMR again via Angie’s List over the weekend. They responded with a message on Angie’s list and called and left me a message on my cell phone. I told them I needed a quote and they came out the next day and sent the quote. I normally get two or three quotes at a minimum, but because of the great work and great service conducted in 2017, I only got one quote. I thought the quote was expensive, but it could be I think everything is expensive. The work was conducted three days prior to the date given once the contract was signed. Once again the work was conducted in a very professional manner with great service from Leigh Ann and Craig."
