"We’ve custom-built and remodeled homes on five occasions and from that perspective I give SES a solid thumbs up. They recently completed a kitchen renovation on our apartment and we are very happy with the outcome and the price paid. Perry’s estimate was detailed and specific and allowed us to complete the project as scoped for the price quoted — a first for us. The project progressed at an acceptable pace and SES coordinated well with the subs we selected ourselves for cabinets and countertops. As is the case with all builders, there were a few glitches and some of their crew were more skilled than others. Their demo crew, cabinet installer and tile guy were first-rate, their paint guys OK and their floor guy and cleaners not very good. SES addressed concerns related to the latter two with redos and fee reductions, respectively. They inadvertently disposed of $300 worth of cabinet lighting they were supposed to reuse, but they immediately agreed to replace it at their expense. Similarly, I had asked them repeatedly to provide me with copies of receipts for parking so I could get these reimbursed by the insurance company (the project was necessitated by water damage caused by our upstairs neighbor) but they neglected to do so and as a result offered to not charge us for parking (which HAD been included as a line item in their bid). Owner Shawn was very personable and responsive, and office manager Ashley was a pleasure to deal with, keeping things moving along and ensuring punch list items and other requests were addressed in a timely fashion. Communication generally was excellent. There were no times when anyone became difficult to work with, another first for us. I would gladly use SES again and I recommend them without reservation."

"I hired leo to do a shower remodel and kitchen backsplash remodel. He have done such a sloppy and rushed jobs on the projects that he was hired to do that I would not recommend his service to anybody. He do not call to say if he is going to be running late, or he is not going to make it to the job at all. I had to call Angi a couple times to get this man to finish up the jobs that I paid and hired him to do. Make sure you watch him not walk out of your house with the material and tools that you purchased with your money, because he will take and keep the materials without asking. He washed the grout from the backsplash inside my brand new black kitchen sink without my permission, and now it has a white haze to it now. "My second floor was sinking toward the middle of the house. Charlie determined what needed to be done and had his men start the process of jacking up the second floor and installing the support needed since when originally built, the load bearing walls did not have the support needed. Despite being very busy, Charlie squeezed my job in and his guys showed up on time every day till the job was done. They were respectful, never slacked off, but worked constantly and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They did a great job! This was a very unique and difficult problem to resolve but Charlie and his crew did it and did it well and at a very reasonable cost. I am so happy with the job they did and will definitely hire them again."

"Malcolm and his crew were professional and did a great job. He actually came back to finish a small portion of the job (I have learned most don't, sadly). He is honest, helpful and diligent. You just don't find this very often. I love my windows, my shutters look fabulous; I've gotten messages left in my mailbox asking me where I got them. We're planning to use him again this year and look forward to it."

"A very professional painting crew. Mr. Galan was a very honest professional contractor when he came out and gave me a bid for the painting of the exterior of my home. He suggested different colors that I would like. He steered me in the correct way to make my home, be very appealing when it was finished, and the workmanship was impeccable, I cannot say more positive things about him. Very happy with the final paint job and the whole process that led up to the finishing of my house."
