Hargrave Painting had a reputation as clean, fast, reliable painters in the Acadia Parish area. When my father, Burton Hargrave pasted way in 2013 I was still finishing college. When I finished my degree I worked for 5 years in my career now I Blair Hargrave is looking to get back to the painting business. I worked with my dad for over 8 years and still today work on the side. I'm looking to see if there is enough work out there for me to focus 100% on painting. It's a passion of mine to paint and to be professional. It's more of a art form to me. You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

The simple nature of peel and stick wallpaper means it should come off much more easily than traditional wallpaper that is glued to your walls. You’ll still want to work slowly and carefully to avoid tearing it, but most peel and stick wallpaper should come off without a chemical agent to loosen it.

If you’re installing new wallpaper and have leftover glue, you can remove unused wallpaper paste from the bucket or pan it’s in by letting it dry. If it’s an oil-based paste, seal it in a plastic bag and throw it in the garbage. Otherwise, toss the leftover wallpaper paste in the trash. Although it’s water-soluble, don’t rinse unused wallpaper paste down the sink because it could dry in the pipes and cause a blockage.
