"Within my first minute of encountering Jennifer at IPC and I knew I had made the right connection. Friendly, efficient and accommodating! They were able to treat my rental property within a few days and their price was considerably lower than other companies I had contacted. I’m hoping the roach issue is under control but, if not, IPC is now my go-to company!"

"Very knowledgeable guy who seem to know what he’s doing. Don’t know results of spraying. Have had much rain since. Will have to see if it worked. Terminex will spray again the beginning of next month."

"Ryan (the owner) gave me a very fair estimate to treat my entire house for termites. He and his employee Steve did an excellent job and actually showed me the chemical they were using along with the chemical information before treating my home. They drilled and treated every room in my house including the sun room along with the garage and porch. They also trenched the exterior perimeter of my house and treated it with the highest quality chemical on the market. Integrity Termite and Pest Control go the extra mile, they are very honest and knowledgeable, and are far superior than the other local termite companies that I got estimates from. Integrity Termite and Pest Control gave me a 5 year warranty unlike the rest of the companies I contacted which were only 1 year. The other companies did not want to drill and treat the entire house like the label said on the chemical. If you want an honest and reputable Termite and Pest Control company I would definitely recommend Integrity Termite and Pest Control. They are the best in my opinion."

"We found evidence of termite infestation. They responded quickly and inspected property the following day. Price was reasonable and employee was knowledgeable. He explained scope of work and options thoroughly. We added pest control as additional price was very reasonable. Work was performed the following day and we are satisfied with service."

"Very friendly tech came to examine our house. He was really late, but this did not matter - lost his way. The cost was way beyond what we are willing to pay for pest control (over $1000) but we do have a fairly problematic carpenter bee problem."

"GREAT service - they had suggestions for things that we wanted and the work was done in a timely manner - GREAT quality - all workers were pleasant and helpful when we had questions. Their cleanup was exemplary - nothing left - the area was perfect as well as the porch!!!! Prices very competitve with others that I received bids from. VERY PROFESSIONAL - I plan to have them do more work."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Scientists have found that the chemical traces a dying wasp releases can agitate nearby wasps and make them more aggressive. It may not necessarily attract wasps, but it will make wasps in the area more likely to investigate and feel threatened, which leads to more stings. As a result, it’s not a good idea to swat or crush a wasp anywhere near their nest. Once you have found a nest, hire a wasp exterminator.

Besides checking your pet’s fur, you can use two other tests to find fleas in your home: the white sock test and the water and lamp test.

To perform the white sock test, simply put on a pair of long white socks and drag your feet along the carpets in your home. Fleas will gravitate to the heat created by your socks. The water and lamp test involves placing a bowl of water on the floor and shining a light over it. Fleas will then be attracted to the light and land in the bowl of water.

If a small hive is far enough from your home and doesn’t seem to pose a threat to the health of anyone, then you can opt to leave it alone. They are still pollinators; if you have a garden, they’ll tackle some gardening work for you and produce helpful results without harming you.

Although weevils aren’t harmful to humans, it’s best to throw out flour (or any food product) if it contains weevils or other pests. However, if you want to salvage food after finding pests nearby in the pantry, you can freeze it for at least four days. To prevent weevils from returning, make sure to store your food in airtight containers or inside your refrigerator or freezer.

Carpenter bees do not make honey like honey bees, but they are still essential pollinators. In fact, they have a unique talent called "buzz pollination," in which they use the vibration from their wings to help release pollen from the flowers' anthers. Honey bees are also vital pollinators but do not use this process because they are too small and lack the strength required to buzz pollinate.
