"Installed LVP flooring in our MBR & closet. On-time, professional, and all business, start to finish. Excellent service, reasonable cost, and easy to work with through the whole process. They even cleaned up the debris when finished. Our new flooring looks great, very satisfied with the result. We would not hesitate to use them for any future flooring project. Highly recommended!"

"I was really needing someone to fix my A/C and clean up the mess that it left behind when it leaked through my ceiling. I went into the office as I normally do on Sunday and found the most mess I have ever. My ceiling had caved in on top on my desk apparently after talking to Landon From Southern Kentucky Home Pros He explained everything in detail of what it would take to fix it , How much it cost and the time to do so. The problem I had mostly is that No one usually is available through the week much less on Sunday. They made themselves available. They came in this morning at 7:30a and worked continuously until 8:00p. I could not ask for nicer and courteous workers. They Were Great. I will definitely hire them again and refer them. So excited to have my office back in order. Thanks Guys."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Grouting hearth tiles is one of the most important steps. It seals the tiles so heat doesn’t transfer under the tiles so easily, which can be dangerous. For this reason, heat-resistant grout is a must. Grout also prevents dust, dirt, and any other material from gathering between your tiles. If this happens and those buildups are flammable, a fire could start between the tiles.

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

There are several tools that you will use together to install tiles. Four of the most basic tools needed in tile installation include a notched trowel for applying tile adhesive, a tile cutter or saw for cutting tiles to size, tile spacers for creating the appropriate amount of space between tiles, and a grout float for applying grout.

Yes, provided you aren’t installing drywall over it. But you can skim coat it, apply new tile right on top, paint it, or stencil it. For more budget- and DIY-friendly options, you can install beadboard or apply decals. Just make sure that the current tiles are in good condition and prepped well for the paint or adhesive to stick.

Regrouting is cheaper than retiling, and it involves less work. Grout is available in a wide range of colors, making it a cost-effective way to improve the look of any tiled area in your home.
