"I bought a lock to install myself on my outside garden gate but couldn't get it to fit so I called A B Bonded.  They were able to accommodate my schedule and arrived on time.  The lock was installed pretty quickly and without any problem (I didn't have a big enough drill to drill out the space for the cylinder).  I also needed a key for a back door.  When I bought the house the prior owner told me he'd never had a key.  In short order the cylinder was popped and a new key made for both the deadbolt and the handle lock.  He noticed that the door wasn't catching correctly so he fixed that, too.  All in all, I got what I wanted and more.  I would use A B Bonded again.

"Self installed is the only option. System works fine for the most part though we have had problems with the motion sensor cameras. Not that I have anything against FrontPoint, but if I were replacing system, I would probably go with Simply Safe now that they have cameras."

"The appt was set up, they called to verify time the day before. The installer arrived on time, told me about how long it would take, told me the steps he would take. . We discussed where the disk would be located. We discussed where I wanted the cable to come through through the wall or the floor, where I wanted my computer locainstallation went smoothly. No surprises. I am very pleased.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
