Tile installation.

"He did a beautiful job on my shower. His installer originally did a poor job finishing the top of the shower by the crown molding but he was quick to get a carpenter in to correct the issue. He also did my back splash in my kitchen. It is beautiful too. The epoxy on my floor is an entire different story. When his workers originally did the epoxy the lines were uneven and they missed a lot of areas that did not get filled in properly. The epoxy began chipping up shortly afterwards and he told me they would come in and fix it. That was 7 months ago. I have tried calling numerous times. I have left many messages. I have also sent numerous texts to no avail. The cost of my 3 projects was quite expensive. I in the least was owed an explanation as to why he did not back his work. Refusing to call me back is inexcusable. I would not recommend using this company. They DO NOT back their work if there is a problem. Very unprofessional."

Impervious or vitreous tile and vinyl flooring work best for the kitchen. These surfaces are non-porous (or have a very low porosity) that can stand up against spills, splashes, and plumbing leaks. Some natural stones are also a good fit, but keep porosity in mind. You may need to seal them to avoid stains and water damage to the subfloor.

There are a few different types of finishes to choose from for the final step of the project. 

Water-based polyurethane sealants emit fewer odors and fumes but dry quickly, which can pose a challenge when trying to get a smooth coat. Vomit contains organic fluids along with whatever else comes out with it. When left without cleaning, vomit, and its odor can reach deep into carpet fibers and become very difficult to remove without a deep cleaning. In some cases, the combination can cause permanent carpet staining.
