"Matt and Ben were AWESOME. We bought an old butchertown house from the 1800s, and they came out right away and evaluated the whole home for us.  In the end they determined that the existing spray foam was more than we needed (didn't even charge) and had a lot of recommendations for subcontractors that we did need for other projects.  Could not believe we found a contractor who didn't try to upsell us or rip us off.  I know friends that used them for spray foam and raved.  I cannot recommend them strongly enough.  "

You should always hang drywall from the top down. Starting at the top makes it easier to create a straight, tight line between the ceiling and the wall. Any gaps that occur will be at the bottom, where they are easier to manage. You can either cut the bottom piece of drywall to fit the remaining space or cover the gap with baseboard trim. Additionally, starting at the top is physically easier, as you won't have to fit the top sheet into a tight space between the lower sheet and the ceiling, or try to balance the upper sheets on the lower ones while securing them.

Technically speaking, you can use drywall primer over plasters. However, oil-based primers work the most effectively on wall plasters. Meanwhile, water-based primers work just as well with drywalls. Which style of corner bead you choose—whether metal or paper-faced—depends on your preference and if you’re comfortable using metal-cutting tools and a hammer.
