"I purchase a Front Entry door for $9600 5 years ago. It is a really nice-looking, full-fiberglass door with sidelights and a transom. this past winter, the lower corner of the door froze to the jamb and when we opened the door it ripped the corner of the door. This is an expensive door with a limited-lifteime warranty and the salesman touted that it would last 50 years or more. The door and sidelights slabs are warranted for life. The finish is warranted for 10 years. which is also fading in spots. Initially, Their customer service did not want to do anything about it so I filled a complaint with the BBB on a Friday. Wouldn't you know it, they called on Monday and said they would meet this Thursday about getting a solution figured out. Well it took about 4 weeks, but they finally got a "solution." They wanted to charge $1700 for a new slab or $200 to glue the corner back on and touch it up. I told them I would fix it myself and wash my hand with the matter and their company. Now because they responded to the BBB Complaint and took so long to get the "solution" the BBB closed my case satisfactorily. BUt don't be fooled. These guys are crooks. They are overpriced and provide lack-luster customer service. Do your future self a favor and find someone else to hire."

No. You should let the caulk completely dry before you expose it to moisture. It’s safest to wait at least a full day before showering where you’ve recently caulked. Showering before caulk is fully dry can lead to a poor seal, meaning water can seep into cracks and cause damage and mold growth. 

Before you begin caulking a shower, you’ll need to use a utility knife or solvent to remove the old caulk and inspect the area for mold. If needed, take appropriate steps to get rid of the mold, then wipe everything down with dish soap and warm water before letting it dry completely. Additionally, if your tub has only minor damage, refinishing it will make it look new again without the extra demolition and time.
