"Storm Damage is no fun for anyone,we here at Gutter Helmet strive to do the best work we can at the best prices. The Warranty involved with the product is a Lifetime Manufactures Warranty, we do not hold anyone or any customer hostage, nor do we charge outrages prices for the material we replace. As you can see from the customers photograph the area damaged has to do with storm damage, the involved cost is based on insurance work (generally) for such instances; 99% of the Storm Damage work we do involves the homeowners insurance, that is the reason they have it, for storms of such magnatude, such as we had during the winter of 2009, when this occurred, right after the Hurrican in November of 2008. We do not discount the price of the product for insurance work. However, we do try to help our customers out anyway we can. If there was a problem with the price or the customer was paying out of pocket we try to work with our customers in such instances . We cannot however warranty the work others do, if for some reason the customer was to go with someone else to have the repairs done, we could not for any reason stand behind the quality of work that person provided, hence we do in fact void the warranty. We guarnatee that no debris will get into the system and stop up the gutters with our product on the customers house, if something does get in, we will come back out and service it for free. The customer is always free to have someone other than our company work on the system if they so choose to, we just cannot put our warranty on it; no hostage taking involved. I am sure anyone would reasonably agree with that fact. The Gutter Helmet is a great product and was on the home prior to this storm for over 3 years with no incidents, accoding the our data base. The product did what it was purchased for until the tree limbs crushed the entire system on this home, it was an unfortunate incident, we are glad it wasn't any worse than that, as many suffered much, much worse as far as home damage, from both storms, not to mention the power outage that both storms caused. What a nightmare."

"We have had numerous calls from this customer and have always responded to her for service. She has complained about the Gutter Helmet not working on her home several, times, we went out each time and investigated the matter, we adjusted the product and observed it in the rain, and also ran water over it, we fixed an area where she had a roofer out and they took the Gutter Helmet off and put it back on incorrectly and left all kinds of debris in the gutter. We have showed her how to maintain the product by spraying any dirt build up on the outside of the Gutter Helmet and even provided a spray nozzle to do so, in fact we have sprayed it off for her on occasion. In all this we have found nothing wrong with the performance of the Gutter Helmet, and no debris have entered the system to cause any problems, (with the exception of the roofing issue), we have literally thousands of Gutter Helmet customers who are satisfied with how the Gutter Helmet works on there home, but I am very sorry that she is dissatisfied with the product. I have been to her house personnally and can find nothing wrong with the installation or performance of the product. I think it is just terrible she feels so unhappy with such a great product."
