"Michael Lyday was the technician and was very professional and courteous. He set a trap and returned the next morning to find a female raccoon. He also found she’d been nursing and captured two kits in the crawl space. He told me to tell him if I heard anymore sounds which I did when he returned the following day. He captured two more kits and told me to call him again if I heard any more sounds. There weren’t any more and I was impressed that he still called to follow up. I was completely satisfied with his humane methods of removing the animals from my property."

"I've been a customer for 19 years and I emailed and asked if they had any cheaper options to what I have. They canceled me (I guess). I've sent several more emails and it shows where they have read them, but no one will answer me. I work various hours and have a lot going on and can't find time to call, so that's why I email them. They can't keep people employed and there has been a different person come in my house every time."

If it seems like many flies appeared in your yard overnight, don’t be concerned. A single fly can lay over 200 eggs per day, so having one in your yard could lead to dozens more the next day. That’s why it’s important to eliminate flies from outside your home before they take up residence.

You can prevent wasps from returning by having follow-up visits with your local exterminator. If you don’t want to harm more wasps, consider adding a fake nest to a tree or the house. These nests deter wasps from building around your home.

You can also repel them using natural substances like vinegar, coffee grounds, and cinnamon. Wasps also dislike the smell of certain plants, including eucalyptus, peppermint, basil, and lemongrass—just plant them in your garden or pots by your doors.

Trapping is generally not recommended, as even gentle traps can become as inhumane as kill traps if a rabbit is caught and stuck for several days. Additionally, capturing one rabbit isn’t likely to prevent other rabbits from wandering your yard. If you choose this method, it's essential to use live traps designed for humane capture and release of the rabbits in a suitable, safe habitat far from your property. Be sure to set a reminder and check the trap at least twice per day.

Scents such as peppermint oil, rosemary, garlic, and cinnamon can help deter squirrels from your property. Squirrels also have a strong aversion to the scent of capsaicin, the naturally-occurring compound that provides the characteristic heat in chili peppers. This makes capsaicin-based repellents an effective way to deter squirrels from specific areas like gardens or bird feeders. Additionally, squirrels aren’t a fan of strong, fresh scents, so you may have success placing strong-smelling soaps or dryer sheets near where they frequent.

Many brownish housebound arachnids could be mistaken for hobo or wolf spiders, including nursery web spiders. An easy way to classify is to look for traditional spider webs, as neither hobos nor wolves participate in this practice.
