"My tree removal (2-50' trees w/3' to 4' stumps + 1 extra stump) went better than I expected. Estimate, tree removal, and stumps removal were all done when scheduled, and the estimate was exactly the same as the final cost. The workers were hard working and knew their profession well. I was concerned that the trees were close to power lines on one side and my house on the other. A minor mistake could have caused a big problem both with the workersâ  safety and/or property damage. They tackled both trees quickly and brought them down without incident. I will recommend them to anyone needing quality tree removal services. Date of tree removal was 6/10/24. Stumps were grinded down on 6/27/24."

"This move went extremely well. Leondre' Clark, (Owner/Operator), along with his team, Dontay and Adnan took great care with fragile items. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I would not hesitate to use this service again. Attention to detail and exceptional customer service goes a long way; I highly recommend!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You should prune ornamental trees once every other year after the fruit has matured and begun to drop. You should also prune out dead branches whenever you see them. Pruning too often can stimulate more growth, especially in faster growing varieties like Bradford pears.

All of the tree root removal methods mentioned above are effective on any kind of root, whether it’s still growing or simply needs a gentle nudge to finish decomposing. The only difference is that larger roots tend to be harder to remove and may require multiple chemical treatments as well as manual labor to eradicate.

Generally, avoid trimming trees in the summer (with the exception of pruning fruit trees as needed). Trees use a lot of energy in the summer, most of which is relegated to new growth. If you chop it too early, you could stunt the next season's growth. Again, when in doubt, do some research based on the specific tree type.

Though summer is not ideal, you can do some light pruning during this time of year. Just make sure it’s not excessive. Vigorous pruning will stress the tree and impact next year’s growth. Generally, August to September are the best summer-pruning months, particularly for fruit trees.

If it’s only a smaller branch that has died and you’re keeping an eye on the tree, it’s probably nothing to worry about. But if other nearby branches start dying off as well, or a very large branch dies, then you likely have a bigger problem. It’s time to watch for diseases and other problems and possibly get professional guidance on how to proceed.
