"I hired S&L for several projects to assist on finish work for a new house I was building. The work included installing cabinetry in the kitchen, baths and laundry room. Custom building shelving in several closet and a pantry. Doing stone and tile work. Also finish trim in various areas around the house. The team did excellent work, were very conscientious about the work and also very clean and respectful about the work and our needs. I would highly recommend them for any type of project. "They completed the entire roofing project in two days time. However, the inside trim work around the skylights has been delayed for three weeks. The good thing is that I've held back a hefty amount of monies to finish paying off the project. I get there are delays based upon who does what type of specialty work. The carpenter is scheduled for next week Tuesday. We'll see."

"I can't say enough of how happy we are with the work. I put in a quote request off the website. Dan called me the next day. Made informal calls to the city building for zoning/building limitations. then , came out that night to see what we were working with. He got me a quote within a few days. We were a tad over budget and Dan was able to make suggestions as to where we could trim it etc. His payment expectations were EXCELLENT. He required payments at different parts of the job completion. I like that for planning purposes. Now the WORK.....WORTH. EVERY. DANG. DIME. My deck is beautiful and exactly what we wanted and more. I haven't seen many decks like ours. The detail of the edges of the rails and posts just really had us amazed. The stairs feel nice and sturdy, with a solid feel. We also had concrete work done and a ramp made. We had a hard time visualizing everything, but trusted Dan and his crew recommendations. I came out perfect. We are actually thinking of another job for concrete work. I was a little worried that Dan's work maybe out of my budget due to the lovely examples of his work I have seen and competitors quotes of items not as nice. I was SO pleasantly surprised. Do yourself a favor and have them bid on your job. Dan did all the permit work for us. (Even helped me complete permit work for the fence we were having installed after his deck work.) As I read the reviews something over and over keeps being said he 'threw in a little extra'. I think that is part of the customer service experience that is lacking this day and age. Dan and his team were very accommodating to us and didn't want to put us out at all. That adds to the great experience. If you made it this far in my review, thank you *grin*. To give history, my husband and I are first time homeowners. The home was in the family, and we are wanting to make changes to make it us, but keeping the family memory there."
