Customers say: Quick response

A-OK Septic Sewer & Drain Service in Paducah, KY is a private company categorized under Septic Tank Cleaning Services. It was established in 2001 and incorporated in Kentucky.

"Very unprofessional and not punctual. He cleaned the kitchen drain. I had him look at my sewer and we both discovered it was stopped up. He didn't have enough line with him so he came back the next day with, he said, more line. He worked a few minutes and said it was unclogged. It was baby wipes stopping up the sewer. I have never had a baby wipe in this house. I had to hire another sewer company and pay them to do what he was supposed to do. My sewer wasn't even close to being unstopped. His unprofessionalism was astounding. I know about his personal life, very personal, his children, his finances and his business dealings. Most of these things I have found out weren't true. PLEASE save yourself time and money and DO NOT USE this man."

We offer state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatments for many symptoms women face. Our practice includes three board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists, a nurse midwife, and a physician's assistant. These providers, along with the staff work hard to promote a comfortable and caring environment. Dr. Frederick was the first general gynecologist in the state of Kentucky (and in our servic area) to successfully complete the requirements to utilize the Da vinci robotic surgical system. This allows for minimally invasive hysterectomy and pelvic floor surgery that would otherwise require large incisions. We also treat female urinary incontinence, many types of sexual dysfunction, and prolapse of the vagina, uterus, and bladder.

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Main sewer lines can clog for several reasons. For example, if you regularly dump oil or grease down your drain, it could eventually block your line. Sometimes, tree roots can penetrate and grow inside old sewer pipes, creating a major blockage. Flushing bulky items (like paper towels, diapers, or baby wipes) can also clog your plumbing system.

In the majority of cases, homeowners insurance will not cover a main sewer line root clog. The reason is that most insurance companies consider tree root damage to sewer lines as common wear and tear, which is also preventable. However, you may be able to buy optional add-on coverage, such as "service line coverage" or "sewer line endorsements," that would protect against root damage to your sewer line.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

A sewer cleanout typically looks like a white or gray PVC pipe with a removable cap. It's often located either in your yard or basement, depending on your home's plumbing configuration. The cleanout pipe is designed to provide easy access to your sewer system for maintenance and inspections. It may be flush with the ground or slightly elevated, making it distinguishable from other pipes. When you remove the cap, you can access the sewer line directly or determine its direction, which can be helpful when you need to locate your sewer line from your house to the street.

Black Friday, also known as the day after Thanksgiving, is one of the busiest days of the year for plumbers. Plumbing pros receive many service requests for clogged drains, garbage disposal issues, and clogged sewer lines. Don’t hesitate to call a plumber on Black Friday if you experience emergency plumbing problems.
