Kent was accommodating and explained everything he did. Of course this job took 4 weeks due to two 12 inch snows instead of two days. We both just laughed at the weather conditions. We became friends during this time. Kent and his assistants were all professional yet felt like family.

I noticed the leak at about 8am this morning. I called Kent Price Plumbing immediately. The receptionist stated that she would call Kent and let him know. Kent called within 10 minutes of my call to the business. Kent stated that they were on a call in Mayfield and could be here in about an hour. Kent and an employee of his arrived approximately an hour later. It took them all of about 10 minutes to fix the problem. I had an access panel so the leak was visible. Both gentleman were very courteous and professional. I have no idea what any other plumber would charge to fix the problem. Kent Price did have to drive from Mayfield, so I'm sure that added to the price.

The plumbing was under concrete and they had to jackhammer to get to the leak. They completely re-did the entire plumbing over one weekend and did a good job. They also added an extraction pump outside.

Mr. Price was timely in calling me back, letting me know an accurate timeframe and calling me to inform me when he was on his way. He showed up on time with an employee and they both took their shoes off immediately upon entering the house so as not to mess up my carpet. He was courteous and professional and set to work immediately. After repairing the line and setting the toilet he wrote me up a bill with descriptive line item notes. He also talked with me about the potential for ongoing problems with the line as it had not been installed correctly and a cost estimate for replacing the whole line. He even told me of a program his church runs to help people with specific financial needs such as that (the estimate for permanent repair was $1,200 - $1,600). I was told after the fact that the charges were a little high for having already had my toilet (so there was no real materials cost) but I thought the fees were fair and would gladly pay them again for this level of professionalism, which, in my experience, has been difficult to find in Western Kentucky.

I felt that Kent was very professional, quickly diagnosed the problem, told my wife what he was going to do and how much it would cost. His fee was very reasonable for a weekend call.

Company was called,returned my call w/i 10 min.They were in another town,30 min.away.Once they were finished,they called to say they were 30 min.away.Once at my home they had to replace a leaking hot water tank.The old tank was removed,new tank installed,up and running in aboutan hour.Quality work,job was done right,they will do work for me in the future.

Kent Price Plumbing has always responded quickly to our calls and fixed the problem quickly as well. All of the employees have always been very professional and nice.
