"Very friendly and professional service. Explains and shows you what his inspection on your insulation and needs are and listens to you and answers your questions. Very reasonably priced with no pressures like other companies. I am going to have them do the insulation in my walls next year. In my opinion A+ service"

"My family owns several large metal buildings used to store some pretty expensive farm and ranching equipment. The extreme temperatures and harsh Kansas weather were both starting to take a toll on the machinery and other contents of the buildings, so we decided it'd be in our best interest to see what insulating the buildings would cost.
A friend of mine had told me about Airtight of Kansas out of El Dorado, so I gave them a call. Chris Garrison, the owner of Airtight, came on-site to inspect our building himself. He was extremely knowledgeable and reviewed our options very thoroughly, explaining that closed cell foam insulation was what he recommended for our building. He was able to schedule the job a couple of weeks after the initial inspection. The crew showed up on time and completed the job within the time-frame that we were given and conducted themselves in a very professional and courteous manner. There was no mess left behind, nor was our building, property, or any of the building contents damaged during the process, which was a huge relief!
W e have been more than satisfied with the results. We will definitely be giving Chris a call in the future to come back and insulate our other buildings on the property, and we would highly recommend Airtight to anyone needing commercial or residential insulation.

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Middle Water LLC for spray foam insulation on a client's home and was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. The team consistently showed up on time and adhered strictly to the bid they provided, showcasing their commitment to reliability and integrity. Their dedication and work ethic, particularly the impressive contributions from the hardworking Amish labor, were remarkable. Based on this experience, I have confidently referred Middle Water LLC to another client, who is now planning to use their services as well. The excellent job they did, combined with their punctuality and adherence to the bid, make them a standout choice for insulation services. I am so satisfied with their work that I intend to use them for my own home, which I plan to build in the near future. "Through Angie's List we found Vantage Point Exteriors and chose them to install James Hardie Siding on our house.
Matt at Vantage Point was a very helpful contractor. We could contact him at any time of the day.
He guided us through the many choices we needed to make, and showed us how our house would look with each decision.
He worked with the Hardie Company and put together a very professional team with knowledge of the product and a great work ethic. They were craftsmen, courteous, good problem solvers, and on time.
They provided an outcome that has rejuvenated our 40-year-old home into a showcase. There were no surprises or hidden costs. In short they were a delight to work with.
Sincerely,
Pam and Mike Bennett

When choosing a professional insulation installer, consider asking these questions to determine the best fit.
Will you address air leaks in my house?
Can you provide an R-value (heat resistance) fact sheet?
What kind of insulation will work best for my home?
How do you handle signs of a water leak?
Are you licensed and insured?
Can you provide customer references?
The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
In some cases, you may not have enough insulation to properly regulate your home’s temperature. Watch for a few signs your home needs more insulation, such as:
High heating and cooling bills
Uncomfortable room temperatures
Ice dams on the edge of your roof
Roof leaks
Cold floors and walls
Freezing pipes
Temperature fluctuations
Visibly low insulation
Noise problems
Pest problems
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:
Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot
Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot
Batt: $2–$4 per square foot
Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot
Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
