"My brother and, my father before him, have relied on the excellent work and competitive bids for the wrapping of soffit and eaves, basement window replacements and, most recently, the two bathrooms remodeled which my brother and his wife absolutely love. Because of that high recommendation, I always give Mid America Exteriors, and their great salesman and project coordinator, Seth, a chance at bids. The most recent bid was quite competitive for replacement windows, which are top of the line, but was not in my budget at the present time since I had higher priority improvements that needed to be done first. In the excitement of the great deal Seth made, I signed but had to back out days later because of the other things I needed to get done first. I would like to thank the owner, Dave Becker, for allowing me to back out of the deal. Dave is a excellent person and a perfect gentlemen and I can see why both my brother, and my father (God rest his soul) have relied on Mid America Exteriors for their needed home improvements over the past 20 years. They always put in very quality products and at very competitive price. I would recommend Mid America for whatever work you need to have done on your home. They should always be a go to for a bid. Good installers, but concrete dust everywhere and crew's ladders tore up my yard.
Crew does work with ladders instead of pump jacks, so the crew ladders marring the James Harding factory finished caused many punch list items.
Window installers good, but leaves windows clean to siding installer foreman.
Too many punch list items, and too much time spent having to create the list.

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."
