For custom order projects, standard practice is 50% of estimate at the time of order and the remainder on delivery. For large orders, progress payments may be required. Restoring furniture generally takes less time because the fixes involved are mostly surface-level cosmetic repairs. In most cases, a project like this will be completed in one to two days at most.
