"Great local small business. Super responsive and answered my numerous questions along the way. Work started on time and finished on time despite rainy weather. Very kind and professional team that installed my fence. And when they say integrity they mean it. While digging a post hole they hit a sprinkler line and immediately told me. Explained why they chose that spot to dig and I totally agreed with them that I would not have thought the sprinkler hose was there either. Had a sprinkler guy already scheduled to service my system the next day and he checked the hose and there was no damage. Love that they took responsibility right away even though there was no damage. Did a great job saving the sod in the post holes, cleaning up the dirt and putting the lawn back together at the end of the job. Their estimate was slightly higher than some other local big businesses but I alway try and hire mom and pops when I can and am really happy that I hired this one. Completely worth the money. "

The average price is about $400, but you can expect to pay more for higher-end models or if you hire a pro to do the job for you.

While the part of the garbage disposal that attaches to the sink is universal, not every single disposal will work in every sink cabinet. A larger disposal may be too big to fit in a compact space, for example. If the pipes under your sink are arranged in an unusual way, it may be difficult to put in a bigger disposal, even if there technically is enough space.

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. You need plenty of room to fit a garbage disposal under there, so measure the space ahead of time and use those dimensions when shopping for a new model. If you’re replacing an existing model, get one in that size.
