"FC Tucker's Jason Eddy is very dramatic and animated as if he's on a reality television show. Tried to guilt me into paying additional amounts that weren't included in the contract or title documents after all the closing documents were already signed. Threatened legal action multiple times for something that was never part of our agreement or mentioned to me before closing. This is not a person who I would ever have around my money or my business again. He's basically been stealing from sellers for 16 years while looking at them with disgust in his eyes as he demands payment for his clients. Dealing with FC Tucker's Jason Eddy has been one of the worst experiences of my business life. Indiana law states: IN Code § 32-31-3-19 (2023) Sec. 19. (a) Unless otherwise agreed, if a landlord conveys, in a good faith sale to a bona fide purchaser, property that includes a dwelling unit subject to a rental agreement, the landlord is relieved of liability under law or the rental agreement as to events occurring after written notice to the tenant of the conveyance. However, for one (1) year after giving notice of the conveyance, the landlord remains liable to the tenant for the security deposit to which the tenant is entitled under section 14 of this chapter unless: (1) the purchaser acknowledges that the purchaser has assumed the liability of the seller by giving notice to the tenant; and (2) upon conveyance the seller transfers the security deposit to the purchaser. (b) Unless otherwise agreed, a manager of a dwelling unit is relieved of any liability the manager might have under law or the rental agreement as to events occurring after written notice to the tenant of the termination of the manager's management. -- This means that unless agreed upon, the seller is not required to transfer deposits to the buyer like they tried to force me to do. Now, a few weeks before closing after we scheduled a TON of services including movers, truck, friends taking off to help, babysitters for kids, and have a buffer of 3 weeks before we have to move out of a rental end of June; Martha tells me they require a certain letter from the pension that I will not receive until mid-july. Because of this they initially said we couldn't close until July. Then it is June 20th. If she provided us with this information months ago, we could have planned differently. Now we are scrambling to figure out what to do. So, I repeat, DO NO GO WITH NVR MORTGAGE. I'm not the only one either. I just spoke to our new neighbors who broke off with NVR and Martha after 6 months before closing because of similar issues. DO NOT GO WITH NVR MORTGAGE!!!! it should be NO STARS FOR NVR MORTGAGE."
