"We were told we were getting insulated windows (Addison Plus) but got Addison Lite which is a lower grade of windows. Being a consumer we don't know the names of these windows & the windows we got are more drafty than what they took out. We've had service out several times & said everything is good just not insulated. When we contacted sales Lisa sent us a nasty response saying this is what you got & I will not be responding to any other emails or phone calls. I've called Corporate several times & no help, they just keep sending service out."

"This is only a limited summary. Buyer, especially seniors, BEWARE! Average product, but very poor installation quality and workmanship. BCI-BathPlanet of Indianapolis arrived an hour late without calling, and no return calls from the office, sales rep., or service manager. They damaged three areas of an adjoining wall into another room using a Sawzall. And, they left without telling me. I had to cleanup the paint and drywall debris. The next day they arrived, and I showed they the damage. They admitted they damaged the wall using the Sawzall. I withheld $500 of my payment. It should have been at least $4,000. They promised the following business day, a Monday, they would have someone call to make the repair that day, but they did not show and did not call. When I called their Customer Service, BCI-BathPlanet would not return my calls total of about 20 times. I had to stop by their office twice but they claimed "there was nothing they could do" to make the service manager return calls. They refused to have the owner call me. Our sales rep. used deceptive sales practices by claiming to be a part-owner. The office told me he was not a part owner. When I visited the office they said I could only talk with the service manager. Shower shelves fell off the walls. Caulking was very poor. After almost three months they finally attempted to make some initial repairs. So.e were satisfactory, but others were so bad I had them remove parts of the decorative trim because they said "it was the best they could do"."

"It's been a terrible experience. Two-thirds of the way into the project, the owner Chris Troyer, asked for the final payment in advance stating that he was having some financial difficulty. Against my better judgement I made the payment because he seemed trust worthy. He has not shown up since to complete the project which still requires all the siding, trim, gutters and doors to be installed. It is now over six months from the stated completion date on the contract. I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office but the contractor was unresponsive. I have now filed a breach of contract case in civil court. And the quality of the work completed is also questionable. See images: rough floor and a wall blew out during the concrete pour. Also, he filed for administrative dissolution for his LLC in 11/2021. So if you're signing any contract with Chris, it's not worth anything. Summary: stay clear of Midwest Residential and Chris Troyer."
