"Great company! Hunter came in and looked at the project we needed done and gave an estimate in 15 minutes! He then sat us down with a bunch of photos of previous work he and his crew completed and we were sold! Offered large discounts compared to other contractors we got estimates from. His crew and him did our entire master bathroom in a week start to finish! It turned out better than I could have imagined! I highly recommend Indy aces construction! Thanks Hunter!"

"I purchased a 4-hr handyman deal through Angie's List for That Contractor Guy. I scheduled a day and time to have a someone come out and complete a 3 item work list. One person arrived and I provided him with the three items. He took care of the first two items within an hour and a half, but was unable to complete the third item(shelf install). Because the first two items took less than 2 hrs to complete, once Muno(owner) arrived he had assured me that he would come back out and handle another small job (replace an exterior light) to essentially cover the original purchase once I purchased the material. During the initial visit, I had also made him aware that I was looking to work with a contractor for some larger jobs(built-ins, update a fireplace and replace some trim). However, after contacting Muno twice to complete the original job, he never responded. Although he and his employee did good work and were obviously competent, the lack of professionalism prohibited me from using or referring That Contractor Guy to anyone else. Since he did not keep his original word to complete such a small job there is no way I could trust him for a larger job. End result is that I found another contractor to perform the 15k in improvements that I had planned to use That Contractor Guy to complete. I only purchased the 4hr deal to help me locate a trustworthy contractor to employ. Unfortunately, this was not a good match for me. "
"The first (cheaper) contractor I hired completely botched the job and ruined a roll of expensive paper. John saved the day. He prepped the walls and meticulously matched the busy pattern. The finished job looks great. I recommend him without reservation ( and I enjoyed talking with him too)!"
"A&D stepped in to take on this project when we had to 'fire' the original contractor for a variety of reasons (long story). A&D did the demolition of the old cabinets and coordinated the electrical and plumbing updates, painting, backsplash installation and detail work such as installing a new pantry door. We were installing IKEA cabinets and used a company that does this work for IKEA around the country and the same for countertop fabrication and installation. We had used A&D for water mitigation problems previously and found the company to be reliable, responsive in an emergency, professional, friendly and easy to work with. This was consistently true with the kitchen renovation where there was added complexity with the number of service providers involved. We are starting our next project with A&D in early January with a master bath reno, laundry/utility room repair and installation of new hardwood floors - all being done due to a water leak that A&D handled. A&D has already been involved with this project, providing guidance through the insurance claim process which, through no fault of A&D's, was very frustrating and took months. It's really a relief to have a service provider you can trust."
John called on Friday week before to let me know they might be running behind just a bit and would know more on Monday. He stated that they would be there on Tuesday to get started and it would take a week. He was true to his word and worked hard to get me a beautiful bathroom in a week. He was very professional yet very kind and listened to what I wanted. He was not the cheapest contractor out there but he called and asked if I had made a decision. He follow thru made him the likely candidate to redo my home. I trust his word and his work is a refection of it. He will be doing my master bath in couple of weeks and then on to the kitchen.

Balcony construction or replacement typically requires a building permit from your local permitting authority. Safety and building integrity are the main reasons for the need to obtain a permit and the subsequent inspections. In some cases, especially cantilevered balconies, your municipality may also require the oversight and signature of a structural engineer.
There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.
Bow windows need support because they are large and extend out from the exterior wall of the home. Bow windows may extend 1 foot to several feet from the outside of the home, so you’ll need to provide additional support to handle this weight. A window contractor will be able to provide the proper amount of support for your new bow window.
Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.
Proper Murphy bed installation minimizes the risk of wall damage. A secure attachment requires making some holes for anchors or brackets, but these can be easily patched if the bed is removed. To ensure the installation is done correctly and safely, hiring a professional is recommended, especially if you have limited DIY experience.
