"We were in a situation where were moving, had two house payments and an upcoming wedding, when we had a mold test come back positive in the basement of the house we were attempting to sell during the inspection process. And to top it off, while we were rushing around moving things, and meeting contractors at the house to go over the inspection list items, my fiance mom had a sudden medical emergency that required us to be in the hospital every night by her side. Everything seemed to be coming to ahead. We were thinking about cancelling the wedding because of the stress and expense and the costs that two other remediation companies quoted us, but Martin from Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing came and looked at the basement, and, after hearing of our predicament, actually recommended someone who works on real estate transactions specifically, who he thought could help us navigate the process by providing written reports we could use to negotiate with the buyer. "He was very responsive, however, the problem came back after he left. I fortunately received a credit for the time we used him but it was frustrating that the same problem came back. He blamed me for his equipment breaking. He said his snake was not powerful enough and our drain broke his snake. My husband did not want to use his drill attached snake, that is why we called a professional. He was unprofessional in going on and on about his ex wife. When he came back the second time was only because he was the one that started it. His unprofessionalism made it a very uncomfortable experience."
