"My wife and I have gone here for three decades, but it was recently sold and when I took in four men's dress shirts today, one of the new owner's employees insisted that three of the four had to be pressed by hand, thus doubling the price. When I pointed out they had been cleaned there many times before in the usual way, she was dismissive and rude. When I pointed out that one was just cotton chambray, exactly like the one she was prepared to be machine pressed, she said it couldn't be because of its buttons--they were brown plastic instead of white. We have loved this place and especially its amazing seamstress Vicki, but today's experience felt more like attempted fraud than professional service and until they undergo another management change, I fear we won't be going back. The woman from the new owners made it clear she couldn't care less."

I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me.
