These base materials help minimize moisture buildup, reducing shifting and rotting.

The standard thickness for a concrete driveway is four inches for an area that holds cars and pickup trucks. Larger vehicles like motor homes, heavier trucks, and trailers should be thicker to accommodate the added weight without cracking.
