Saturday, June 11, 2016: the owner came out to discuss my situation. I explained what occurred and showed him the driveway where it sunk/not level with the house. He was very belligerent during our conversation about how he couldn't come out for free and complete the job. Several times he approached me with a very angry look and was yelling at me outside of my house. He stated I should have gotten the agreement in writing, stating, "You are a smart guy. You know you should have gotten that my guys would come out later and level your driveway in writing." I explained the guarantee was on his invoice. He seemed so upset that at times I thought he wanted to hit me. He stated his guys would never have told anyone they would come back out for free. I asked him if he was calling me a liar. He said, "Yes I am!" I ended the conversation by saying that I was going to update my status on Angie's List since I received a 10% discount for putting a positive comment when they completed the project. He became outraged by saying, "You are one of those people who share this stuff on social media! I am so sick and tired of you people" I walked away and came back into my house.
No one should have to go through this type of abuse and lack of customer service. My personal recommendation is to never do business with this company in the future.
"We are a Family owned Business not a Franchise. We have been in business for 17 years. If we treated our customers like Mr. [Member Name Removed] says, we wouldn't still be in business. Mr. [Member Name Removed] contacted us on May 23,2015 for an estimate on his driveway, we did the work on June 4,2015. He paid us in full when we were done with the work, if the work wasn't complete why did he pay us? We use hydraulics to lift the concrete, dirt doesn't contain the material. That being said, our staff would not have told him to fill in with dirt. We do give a 1 year warranty on all leveling if it settles. We did go out and look at it and it hasn't settled it looks great. Some people you just can't make happy and we are sorry about that."
four sections of our sidewalk that lead to our front porch. These sections had sunk and were creating a trip hazard.
Dave explained the mudjacking process and I felt very confident that he would do a great job. I called Rhonda at the office to schedule the work. Dave and Cody came out May 23 and did a beautiful job of leveling our sidewalk and cleaned it off when they were finished. My husband and I were thrilled with the work they did! The added bonus is that everyone involved, from Rhonda in the office, to Dave and Cody, are great to work with, friendly, and helpful! I like to get quotes from two companies for jobs like this, and Dave was able to get the entire job done before the second company I spoke with could even get here for a quote! If you appreciate the kind of service I've described, you can't go wrong with AAA Mudjackers -- they are awesome from start to finish!
Once he realized I was not planning to pay he stormed off the properly letting me know I'm an unreasonable customer.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THERE IS NO WARRANTY.
"He called us about Warranty work. David went out to take care of it, only to realize we didn't do any work in that area. He wanted us to fix it for free. David told him it would cost because we didn't do anything in that area, he got mad and said he was going to right a bad reveiw on Angies List if we don't fix it for free."
