My name is Barrett, My friends call me Bear. I am the owner of Three Kings Handyman. I am an Army vet that after being honorably discharged just make ends meet by being a Handyman. Doing any and everything I can working for other people for minimum wage happily because it meant doing something I enjoy. Landscaping and general contracting, Hauling and transporting household goods in the summer. As well as I do Haunted House special effects and design in the Fall. Unfortunately with some of my medical conditions from my service in the military and my work history prior to and after my service, it makes it hard to work full time and I am just now getting back to the point of being able to handle full time work again. I currently have a limited amount of tools at my disposal so my variety of work is limited to General Landscaping and Interior/Exterior Painting and Hauling/Transporting.

"It went very well in the beginning but I was shocked the owner refused to fix the shutter on the door without charging a $99 trip charge. We never called them out for the imperfections and missing paint so I didn't think this would be an issue. Considering the thousands I spent, his response was surprising. The handle also digs into the wood which shows it wasn’t measured right. I have a standard builder grade handle. I should have known because the owner pulled some shenanigans when I placed the order. I still placed the order because I wanted to get it done and not start over. The extra money I paid was worth not going through the hassle hiring someone else and starting over. I’ve had shutters on doors before which is why I know this isn’t right. I’ve NEVER had to adjust in order to keep them from flying open. We have adjusted these over and over and they always hit my wall. This reflects poorly on this company who won’t take responsibility and do the right thing by fixing it."

"They staged the home sale & took $500 sunglasses from the great room by mistake. We immediately notified them w/in an hour that they grabbed the prescription sunglasses that were needed for driving due to my eye disease. We did everything: called a ton of times, texted & offered to meet ANYONE from this company ANYWHERE to get the medically necessary glasses. They simply replied w/ "sorry; we can't find them," ....and they won't return any calls or pay for new glasses that they "sole" from the home. We understand that it is unfortunate that they lost them, however, this personal property was taken from the home. It's their responsibility to make this right. The ONLY reason we are writing this review is because the firm has ignored our attempts to contact them -- blocking our calls, ignoring our voicemails & acting very unprofessional under a simply mistake they made that needs to be made right. This has caused us great harm and expense, as we've had to hire a professional driver in order to drive in the sun."

Because of the additional skills needed as a designer, they’ll have studied in the field and should have certification and possibly licensing.

Deciding to hire an interior designer or an interior decorator is entirely dependent on what you’re looking for out of your project and your budget. Interior decorators typically cost less than interior designers, both in hourly rates and overall project costs. 

If you want to add furnishings to your home but it’s otherwise set with permanent fixtures, an interior decorator would be best for you. However, if you are looking to remodel your home or are building a new home and would like help with permanent structures like cabinets, showers, and overall layouts, an interior designer is best.  

Arched windows used to be most prevalent in more traditional home styles, like Spanish colonial and Gothic, but they are becoming increasingly popular in modern design. You’ll often find arched windows in new home builds across many styles, including farmhouse and contemporary architecture.
