They installed a 20' drain system, installed 5 iron I-beams, repaired and replaced the brick on half of the Michigan wall, regarded the back side corner of the house to allow better drainage away from basement, replaced back sidewalk to angle water away from basement. We are very pleased.

"Marcus was the crew leader and along with his team of Dylan and Don raised my house up to level and set me up with a sump pump and dehumidifier under my house so that I no longer live on a pond. They were timely and efficient and I'm thrilled to be confident in the structural stability of my home"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Elliot called me in reply to my online inquiry. He (patiently and professionally) answered my many coverage and price questions, then gave me time to 'digest' it all and called me back (as promised) at 4PM...to answer more questions. Elliot also worked with me to secure the maximum amount of discount savings. Time will tell if the warranty coverage/work is what it's cracked up to be, but Elliot Chahino is an excellent salesperson. Reach out to him directly if you want the same level of service attention. "Last year we discovered that the sill and backboard had been damaged by termites. Crawlspace Doctor jacked up the house and installed the new sill and backboard.  At the same time we had them install Cleanspace, a plastic covering in our crawl space to keep the basement cleaner and prevent varmints from coming in the house.  We were very happy with the estimate, and the  services.

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking restores level surfaces, prevents further damage, and is more cost-effective than a full replacement.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.
