"I had an absolutely terrible experience with Widmer’s Area Rug Cleaners. I entrusted them with 2 large area rugs for professional cleaning, and they managed to ruin one of them. When I finally received my rugs back after 6 weeks—far beyond the promised 2-3 weeks—I was horrified to find bright blue spots all over one of the rugs. When I contacted the company about this issue, they had the audacity to claim that these spots were already there before they took my rugs. This is an outright lie. My rugs were in excellent condition, without any blue spots, before I handed them over for cleaning. The delay in returning my rugs and the blatant dishonesty about the damage they caused are unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Widmer’s Cleaners for their rugs to look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism, integrity, and care for their customers' belongings is appalling. "Purchased a cord of “seasoned” wood through Facebook in Feb 2025. Unfortunately it wasn’t seasoned, and doesn’t burn unless the fireplace or flue is open. It just smolders and turns black. Sap runs out and in a few places it carmelized on my fireplace. I reached out through Facebook immediately and never heard back from him. I sent him pictures to show how wet the wood was, and got no response. When I got to the center of the pile this week, there were huge dead bugs all over inside the wood, and those pieces appeared to be rotten. I know it was peak cold season and wood was in high demand, but I still expected to get what was advertised- seasoned firewood not wet firewood and firewood filled with bugs."
