"My well pump went out Monday evening, around 6:00 p.m. Hoosier Drain Guys were out of Losantville, relatively close to me in Middletown, and that's who I went with. Got a response within 20 minutes of posting my problem. A technician was scheduled to be here by 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, was here approx. 8:20 a.m., assesed the problem, gave me the breakdown (best case/worse case scenerio, which is how I like to approach things). Work began on schedule; had a few "bumps in the road" - but the problem was taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the customer service, expertise, and the peace of mind to know a bad situation was going to be addressed and solved. Fantastic company to work with; I highly recommend!"

"Had an estimate done for owner supplied water softener. ARS's estimate was very fare compared to 2 other company estimates whos estimate were twice as high. The installer went out of his way to explain and show me how the system works and not charge me for additional parts he needed. Very professional and courteous, will hire again if needed."

I was initially happy with their work. They explained all the problems with the drains and gave me an accurate estimate. They finished the work in a timely and professional manner.

The issue is that the work was done in the winter when the ground was frozen and snow covered. I have spoke to them several times in the past 3 weeks now that the ground is thawed and have been given dates they would come out and repair the groundwork. I have several holes in the yard, one being almost 3 feet deep. I have been scheduled for repairs but to date they have not been done. I'm told each time that they encountered a job that took longer than expected.

If they do the repairs I will come back and amend this review. But at this time could not recommend this company.

"Prior to choosing ABS, I received several quotes and made my final decision based ABS being family owned and operated. When I received my quote from Aaron, he inspected my crawl space and outside my home. He took several reading of the moisture throughout the wood. Aaron spent several hours going over all the issues he found. Time was not an issue for Aaron, as he explained the situation to us, he answered all our questions (sometimes twice) and was very polite. Now onto the days of installation, day one, Joe their lead engineer and crew arrived onsite. Joe was polite and knowledge of the job he was there to perform. He stayed in constant contact with me. Walked me through the process they were doing each day. They spent 5 days due to the size of the job. On day 4 is where they had issues, some larger jobs tends to have unexpected complications. The complications are where you will know if you hired a good company or not. As I stated Joe’s continuous communication with me helped me understand their issues and the company’s solutions. They had to call in more support and because this is a family owned company even the owner showed up. They took the time to explain to me what was happening and what they did to fix the issues. They did not charge me the additional material or time. They went above and beyond what most companies would have done. Now I have a solid and dry crawl space and that is all thanks to American Basement Solutions. "Our technician, Dameyan Jackson, called the night before the day of service to let me know the time that he would be here to service our system. On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."
