"Justin was amazing to work with and he used his skill to creat something unique. We used a 300 gallon pond as a filter for a 12,000 gallon pond. He used check valves to prevent back flow, adjustable valves to control the flow, and piping for aeration that requires only gravity to flow effectively."

At PG Plumbing we have a simple yet powerful reason for starting our plumbing company: to bring a breath of fresh air to the plumbing industry in Fort Wayne and Allen County.\n\nWith the rise of large corporate plumbing conglomerates, we noticed the disappearance of the small, locally-owned plumbing businesses that once thrived in our community. This inspired us to step in and make a difference.\n\nOur mission is clear: we are here to provide our customers with cost-effective, personal experiences rather than prioritizing profit margins. We understand the frustration that often comes with plumbing issues, and our goal is to alleviate that stress with a service you can trust.\n\nWe invite you to choose PG Plumbing a local, employee-owned, reliable, and trustworthy team, for all your plumbing needs. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Thank you for considering us as your plumbing partner in Fort Wayne.

"12 Kilo Plumbing has been our trusted plumbing partner across multiple properties, and their service has been exceptional every time. In the short-term rental and property management world, responsiveness and reliability are critical, and this company consistently delivers on both. From urgent repairs to scheduled plumbing projects, the communication is clear, the work is completed professionally, and everything is handled with a high level of care and craftsmanship. Most importantly, the issues are resolved the right way the first time, which is invaluable when managing guest-facing properties. It’s rare to find a plumbing company you can rely on across an entire portfolio, but 12 Kilo Plumbing has absolutely earned that trust. Highly recommended for homeowners, real estate investors, and property managers who value dependable service and true professionalism."

"I found AAA Sewer & Drain Cleaning online and sent a information request via email. Jim gave me a call the next day and offered a fair quote (even with driving to the edge of his servicible area). I asked for his advice in another plumbling area and he joyfully checked it out after his job was done. Jim and Rob were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again!"

"The tech Jordan arrived on time. He was pleasant, took a look at the issue we were having with a bathroom drain and promptly fixed it. PG Plumbing is our "go to" plumber since they did a great job of installing a new water heater. Would highly recommend them."

Toilets FAQs, answered by experts

The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

The biggest sign that your flange leaks is if you notice water at the base of the toilet. The cause is likely due to a poor flange installation, so you might have issues with loose bolts, an uneven flange, or a cracked plastic flange. Add a deteriorating wax seal to this, and you have a recipe for disaster. The best solution is to shut off the water valve, replace the toilet flange, and seal it with a new wax ring.

The cost to install a new toilet typically runs from $225 to $530. This doesn’t include the price of the toilet itself, which can cost $90 to $1,500 depending on the model and features you choose. You can save money if you choose to install a toilet yourself. However, you might want to hire a pro for this project.

"Due to the many complexities of replacing a toilet flange, it is typically a job best left to the pros," says Jeff Botelho, Angi Expert Review Board member and plumber. "Many times it isn't as simple and straightforward as 'pop off the old one and pop on a new one' because the flange is either glued on (PVC/ABS), soldered on (brass/copper), or caulked in place with a lead & oakum joint (cast iron) and none of these things can be easily reversed without years of training and repetitive practice."

DIY is possible for minor repairs or replacements. Professional services ensure proper installation and leak prevention.

The water in your toilet tank refills after each flush. So if you see dirty water in the bowl, you should check the tank to see if it’s coming from there. A dirty toilet tank can be the result of sediment in the water itself—-after all, the water will sit in the tank between flushes and can cause the interior to change into a dingy color. Faulty toilet components, like an old flapper, corroded tank lever or chain, or damaged seals, can also lead to dirty water as the materials break down inside the tank. You can clean the toilet tank or change out the old parts to give it a fresh start.
