Small jobs welcome

Hi there! I have about 9 years of experience with home remodeling, house flips, and currently I am focused more on carpentry (custom closets, interior/exterior trim, etc.) and flooring. I am still open to most home repair needs. I am new to Angi, but feel free to check out some photos of my work in the project photos. I am also willing to share more photos. Feel free to email me at [email protected] or call/text at 3179032308. Thanks!

"I was nervous at first to hire someone to come into my home to clean because this is my personal space but I can't keep up due to work overload. After meeting LaKeisha, I could tell everything I needed or wanted was in her best interests as she took notes along the way. The first clean I come home and was blown away as soon. As I walked in the door at how clean e everything smelled, looked and felt! I now use their services on a weey basis. And they offer a number of services outside of cleaning. LaKeisha is professional and not afraid to tackle projects out of the ordinary. If her team was unsure how to do something, she was sure to teach them. I would not pass up an opportunity to let them WOW your day!"

"Kyron and his partner set up my 55 inch TV on the wall. They helped me set up the wireless network on the TV. They did an excellent job! I will call them for other handyman needs."

Closets questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, avoid overloading shelves, and check hardware for wear to ensure longevity.

A standard walk-in closet has dimensions of 7 feet by 10 feet at a minimum and an average of 100 square feet. Remember that the dimensions of the closet aren’t necessarily the usable space. This means that a 100-square-foot walk-in closet with shelves on each wall and an island may only have a walkable area of 50 square feet or less. Make sure you consider the effect of additions when you plan the room—mockups are a great idea.

Some features and upgrades you can add (some of which increase the closet’s value) are: modular shelving, motion-activated lighting, climate control, custom lighting, cigar humidors, revolving shoe racks, jewelry shelves, custom woodwork, and built-in laundry hampers. While only truly luxury closets have all of these, many custom closets have at least one special feature listed above.

Since they are so fragile, it is not usually recommended to stack anything on top of your packed lamps. If you have sturdy boxes, and what you plan to put on top of them is of a similar weight, it’s okay to stack.

Whether it’s less expensive to build or buy a closet depends on both the type of closet and whether or not you’d be constructing it yourself. The cost of custom closets built by a pro ranges from $1,300 to $3,800, but you may be able to DIY it for as little as $400. By contrast, prefabricated options go as low as $200 and up to $3,000, so it’s almost always less expensive to go this route.
