From yorkies to golden retrievers, and then labs as well as labradoodles. I took agriculture courses in high school including volunteering on local farms. It may seems a bit crazy to offer such a wide range of services. The variety is my motivation; it helps change up my routine and it is what drives my passion to help others. I know my job my been hectic but at the end I was able to make that persons life a bit less stressful. I learned these skills knowing that I may just need to know how to do that one day when I have nobody to help. Little did I know I would enjoy putting that knowledge to use helping others instead. "Horrible! The workers did not show up each day until about 10am (or later) and would leave around 2-3 pm (and that’s including an hour for lunch) so not much progress on the house daily. I was told my house would be completed within 1-2 weeks, instead it was about 2 months. All that and we were left with a less than mediocre result. I honestly don’t think these people have ever installed vinyl siding before. I have had a lot of the siding fall off and I put back myself, all the top pieces of siding fell off at least once, they came and replaced but the pieces fell off again after they left. I realized they don’t even own the notching tool for the top row pieces (or even know it exists). I had to go purchase this tool, notch the pieces and reinstall myself. Also noticed some of the siding nails were drove in tight, you cannot do this with vinyl siding. It has to be able to move with the temperature changes (can’t wait to see what happens this winter). I still have 2-3 pieces that need replaced but they are at the highest point on my house at the peak (requires a man lift to access) and have been told by the owner several weeks ago they are coming back to fix it, I’m still here, holding my breath. This company might be ok at building a small deck or maybe some bird houses but if your looking for quality craftsmanship, as you should when it comes to your home, this isn’t it."

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.

It’s a good idea to install a rug pad under the carpet for your stairs. To make the pad fit, you’ll need to cut one section for each stair tread that’s about one inch narrower than the stair runner so that it won’t be visible once the carpet is installed on top.

In order to avoid long-lasting waves, indents, or sticking, it’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after fresh carpet is laid to put weighty furniture on top of it. However, you can begin walking on your new carpet right after it’s installed, and doing so can actually help it adhere to the floor better.

If the installer is unwilling to fix the problems and you’re not interested in seeking remediation, you could hide a visually unpleasant floor. This will only work if the floor is structurally sound and the only issue you have is the way it looks. The easiest way to do this is to use large area rugs. You can also paint the floor, although that’s a labor-intensive job if you want to go the DIY route.

Because carpet tiles are designed to adhere to the subfloor directly, it’s usually not a good idea to install padding under them. Some carpet tiles come with padding attached to the tile if you prefer a cushier walking experience. In some cases, you can use a compact underlayment beneath your tiles, but you would likely need help from a pro to accomplish this type of installation.
