"The RS team showed up with less than one week notice and were able to fit my project in between some others they had going on. I needed some tile replaced in my shower, and they were willing to help. The job took them about 5 hours and the results were amazing. 10/10, would recommend to anyone needing work done! They were professional, timely, and descriptive with their repairs. I will be using them again in the future!"

"Bathroom Tile Work First, l appreciated Brandon’s willingness to take on a project requiring more skill than the average job. And secondly, the result of his work is phenomenal! I couldn’t be more pleased! I was introduced to Brandon through someone working in the tile industry after my contractor said the tiling work I was needing “couldn’t be done”. The lady who sold me the tile said she knew of someone who could do the intricate work required. From the start, Brandon and his team took the time to thoroughly discussed and understand my detailed project. Along the way questions would be asked to make sure the final project was exactly the way I wanted or made suggestions so the outcome was even better than expected. The team was confident, efficient, polite, friendly and readily discussed the project along the way. Brandon and his team portrayed a vested interest in the job as if it were their own bathroom. I am so thankful I was introduced to Brandon and his team!"

"We had MAJOR water damage in our three season porch floor and a 25-year old rotting deck. NO ONE wanted this job. It was too big and too scary, literally. Imagine the complexity of removing everything from under a roof without removing the roof? Alan was the only company who quoted this project. He even wrote two proposals. One to try to help us get the insurance company to cover some of the expense and one if insurance would not cover us. He went to a lot of work for us with no pay up front. His exceptional record here on HomeAdvisor convinced us this was the guy to use. In short, he and his crew did everything that they promised. Our neighbors came over and said they had never seen a furniture grade deck before! We simply could not be any happier. Alan is the real deal. A true gentleman and craftsman with a great crew too."

FAQs for backsplash installation projects in Albion, IN

The average cost of installing tile is around $2,000, ranging between $400 and $6,500, depending on the type of tile, square footage of tile, and whether or not your tiling contractor performs site preparation, like removing old tile. On average, you can expect to pay between $5 and $45 per square foot, largely depending on the type and quality of the tiles you choose. For example, ceramic and travertine tile cost about $1 per square foot, but luxury tile options like marble cost up to $350 per square foot, not including labor.

The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.

Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

Tile will almost always last longer than laminate flooring, regardless of the type of tile installed. Porcelain tile can last for 75 years or more with proper care, and even less durable ceramic tile will last for 60 years or more, provided they’re installed by a tile professional. On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.

The cost to install countertops is $3,105 on average. This project cost can range from $400 to $8,500, depending on the material, edging, and countertop size.

Laminate countertops are generally the most cost-efficient, ranging from $8 to $27 per square foot. On the other hand, slate countertops are considered more luxurious and range from $30 to $90 per square foot. There are also countertop materials priced between those two, including stainless steel, granite, Corian, and wood.
