"These folks are top-notch. In April there was a storm with huge hail that got us a new roof, including replacement of two skylights that were damaged. We figured when getting the new roof it would be perfect time to add a couple of skylights to another dark area of our home. Figuring all of that out was a headache when dealing with various roofers and I was getting frustrated...until I found these fine folks and once I did find them all of my skylight confusion was gone -- magically. They made the process painless took the time to explain our options and why they were best-suited for the job. This is all they do - and it shows because their work is fantastic. Back to their recommendations - they made recommendations that were not even on my radar (hello tax credit and holy cow, sun tunnels are ahhh-mazing for small areas!). We ended up replacing the damaged skylights which were manual with solar-powered ones, with a gateway that makes them SUPER-skylights and decided to wait on the installation of new ones in the other area of our home. I wanted to have some time with the replacement skylights before making the decision which type of skylights to add. A sun tunnel was also suggested since they are pretty surprisingly cost effective - a Big Bang for your buck. And boy are they! Communication was second-to-none and every single person from those in the office, to sales to the installer were amazing. They bent over backwards when our roof replacement was delayed due to rain and we had to postpone the original install date to get us on the schedule within a reasonable amount of time. These folks are at the top of my list as far as contractors go. Zero disappointments...and that's not often a thing with contractors. I'm certain we'll be working with them again in the next year...I'm so grateful to have found them.show more

"While there were a couple of bumps along the way, in the end Budget Blinds came through and stood behind their product and work. The salesperson seemed knowledgeable about the products and made some good suggestions. She promised 4 weeks but it was 7 weeks. The installers showed up 45 minutes late, but they were very careful about my home, floors, etc. and picked after themselves. Once installed, the vertical honeycomb shade did not retract correctly and portions of the blind stuck out at the bottom rather than neatly folding and I realized that the metal frame was not the same color as the other blinds I had ordered (although the fabric itself was all the same). Also, one of the cordless blinds was not weighted correctly leading the top of the blind to tip forward showing the magnets when in the “top down” position. I called the company and they sent one of the original installers out and he did some adjustments to the vertical blind which helped some although not completely and he reported he was not able to fix the cordless one without taking it all apart. I talked to the owner again and she, without hesitating, ordered an entirely new vertical blind, this time specifying the color of the frame to better match the other blinds and she re-ordered the entire set of three cordless blinds due to the problem with one blind as she wanted to be sure the three were all made together so there would not be any issue with color match. The replacements came quickly and a completely different installer came out. He was very knowable about the blinds and was also very careful with my home and ensured that I was happy with the install. Again, despite some issues, I am very happy with the blinds and would recommend Budget Blinds as they really worked to make it right.show more

"I love my Crimsafe products. I covered my entire house. The product is impressive. It is very heavy duty and I feel very safe. The product is very finished and looks clean. "My wife and I began remodeling our condo several months ago. Throughout this process we kept looking for new window treatments and visited many of the well-known window treatment stores in the city. As time passed we became more confused and (frankly) began dreading the window treatment decision. My wife read about Susan on Houzz and we decided to give her a call. Susan was amazing to work with. My wife and I have worked with a number of interior designers over the years and we will both attest that Susan is at the top of this list. She is extremely professional and worked closely with us to understand our preference as well as our current home’s layout and décor. On the second visit she had ‘nailed it’ with a selection we are thrilled with. The new window treatments were installed yesterday and are beautiful. Roman shades were installed in the master bedroom and sheer panels in the living room. The installation was extremely well done and the quality of workmanship is outstanding.
