"I had a small project that involved increasing the diameter of holes for three shower valves from 3/4 inch to 1-5/8 inches. This involved cutting into marble tile. Maurizio and his team were very courteous, professional, expedient and efficient. They did a fantastic job."

"My husband and I met with owner Antonio for an upcoming to be done tub to shower remodel, including our walking floor area, hardware, toilet, etc. He restored our faith in hiring craftsmanship over the big box bathroom remodelers. Most important, Antonio recommends and allows us full control over our choices for product on the shower walls, floor and hardware. We pick out, pay for and supply the product. We do not get boxed into only a handful of choices like other big companies do. Then we let Antonio, the expert in his field to do his work with integrity and pride. From tear down to repair, how to deal with surprises that may come into play, to proper install and finish. From a straight shooting estimate on costs, timeline and how to take care of delays, payment requirements, insured, 1 year warranty on workmanship... call it the old fashion way of getting back to a high work ethic and standard."

Small jobs welcome

"The individuals that came out and worked on the shower stall, did a great job and was very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and completed the job a lot faster and better than my wife & I could have. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family members. We have recommended them to our real estate agent incase she needs to recommend someone in the future."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Engineered quartz is an artificial, nonporous material made from a mix of mined ground quartz, polymer resins, and pigments, making it a lower-maintenance option. In contrast, quartzite is a natural stone composed of sandstone, which makes it highly resistant to heat but often requires sealing and more careful upkeep. You should clean both types of stone with non-abrasive cleaners that have a low or neutral pH, avoiding acidic cleaners like vinegar, as well as wire brushes and scouring pads.

A water-based, low- or no-VOC sealer is typically a good choice for marble countertops. Choose a sealant that is certified safe for contact with food when applying to kitchen countertops. For high-traffic areas, look for formulas that have heat-resistant and acid-resistant features. While there are economical and convenient spray-on sealers, they don’t coat the surface as effectively as the ones you apply with a pad or brush.

Unsealed granite is more susceptible to staining and other damage. Regularly sealing your granite countertops decreases the chances you’ll need to repair damaged countertops in the future. It also keeps it looking shiny rather than becoming dull over time. You can check whether your granite needs resealing by putting a few drops of water on the counter and waiting 15 minutes to see whether the water permeates the surface.

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface countertops can be cut with standard woodworking tools like a circular saw or a jigsaw, but using the correct blade is crucial for the best results.

The recommended blade is a tungsten carbide-tipped blade, often called a solid-surface planer or triple chip grind blade. This type of blade is hard enough to cut through the material effectively. For a jigsaw, a fine-tooth down-cutting blade should be used.

It is important to note that a diamond blade is not necessary. Diamond blades are designed for harder materials like natural stone, concrete, or brick, and Corian is not a natural stone.

Using blades designed for wood is not recommended as they can cause microfractures that weaken the countertop's edges. While a tungsten carbide blade provides a much cleaner cut, the resulting edge will still be rough and must be sanded and smoothed to prevent microfractures from developing over time.

Onyx countertops have pros and cons. If you seal it properly and take care not to damage it, it can make a good countertop surface. However, it's more often used in bathrooms, where it’s less likely to sustain damage. Having an onyx kitchen countertop is possible, but you’ll need to take extra care not to burn, stain, or otherwise damage the material.
