From measuring to fabricating to installation, we’ll never take a shortcut. If ten steps of polish are required to get that piece of stone to where it needs to be, that’s what we’ll do. Because, there’s only one way to do this job – and that’s the right way! Long after it’s installed, we still consider your counter top as our own. We spend great time and effort creating and installing our products, so if a piece happens to get chipped years from now, we want to know about it. It’s our mission to ensure your pride in our counter top is maintained. Because there are plenty of automated machines that can “do the job,” many newcomers have ventured into the natural-stone counter top business as a way to create additional revenue. But “doing the job” correctly still requires experienced craftsmen who can hand-cut, fabricate and polish a piece of natural stone – and create a beautiful and unique piece of art. Russo Stone and Tile Design doesn't sub-contract our installations. Each of our technicians are also very experienced craftsman – trained to handle all aspects of the project during time of installation.

St. Louis area family owned business operating our own workroom so all of the creations stay locally for better quality control. Our designer will come to your home with fabrics to help you decide on a design for your project. We can help with pillows, window treatments, bedding, blinds or shades, and upholstery.

"Paulette was kind enough to drop off the remaining fabric before my drapes were done so I could recover my chair seats before having my family over for Thanksgiving. She promptly came over and measured and gave me her quote. She used my special vintage fabric and the the drapes are a perfect fit and absolutely gorgeous. The workmanship is excellent. I would not only use her again, I wouldn't use anybody else."

Right Eye Painting is 7 years old, and has more than 20 years of experience behind the name. Locally owned and operated it was started by a single mom with a vision. We pride ourselves on the fact that we do things right the first time, and have built a solid reputation for being very detailed, clean, down to earth, flexible and respectful.

"We could not be happier. Jennifer and her business, Right Eye Painting, exceeded our expectations. We purchased a house and got quotes from several painting services. Right Eye's was not the cheapest, but Jennifer impressed us from the start with her professionalism and genuine caring. She was truly easy to work with. Jennifer did a detailed walk through with us to clearly determine what work was to be done and made some very helpful suggestions to ensure we would be pleased with the results and keep costs reasonable. When a problem came up with some preexisting construction work, Jennifer and her team leader, German, immediately called us, made time to meet with us in person and explain the problems discovered, and offered options to remediate and complete the job. We are very happy with the results. We got an exceptional job at a very fair price. My wife and I would absolutely recommend Right Eye Painting to anyone looking to upgrade their home."

Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT more unique that brings more tears of joy to a loved one's eyes like one of these. Nothing. I've seen it time and time again. I make it affordable to anyone who's ever wanted one of these. Paintings with half the detail of these can cost upwards of $30,000 limiting something like this from hanging in living rooms for families to the rich only. Not anymore. Here's how it works.. Simply email me your favorite picture or pictures to [email protected] with a brief description of what you would like done. The bigger and clearer the picture the better the drawing. I will start an initial sketch right away and take pictures of it and show it to you. Please email them quickly if possible, because the holidays are coming and I get busy. Once the initial sketch is done. I usually take something down on it. It's a lot of work doing the initial sketch. This varies on the cost of the drawing which we will discuss right away. Drawings are usually 175 for 9x12's 225 for 11x14's 275 for 14x17's After this process is done I continue with your art piece sending you photos on line all the way through which many people find a lot of fun. I am also friends on Facebook with almost every person I've ever drawn for as well and would like to be your friend as well if you would like that. I post them on FB at your discretion. It makes me way more legit to people as well. The Prices vary with the art because of the size of the drawing as well as the number of faces. The number of faces DOES NOT double the cost. Usually an extra face is added depending on the size from anywhere between 25 and 50, but I do deals on these more than anything, so please call me about it at .(850) 691-3976

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

Most interior designers have at least a four-year degree, if not an advanced degree in interior design. Additionally, many states require interior designers to be licensed. If your state does not require licensing, interior designers can take a licensing exam with the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Overall, licensing requirements vary from state to state, but most licenses require certain education levels and experience to qualify. To check the qualifications of your interior designer, use Angi’s state licensing tool.

When you think about Arts and Crafts-style homes, you probably think of a Craftsman house or a bungalow-style Craftsman. Craftsman is one of the major styles developed during the Arts and Crafts movement, but it checks most boxes. Craftsman houses have low-pitched roofs, exposed rafters, open floor plans, and stunning wood finish.

Hiring a high-quality interior decorator should always start with reading through online reviews to see the kind of experience other homeowners have had. You can narrow down your search and then ask the remaining companies for references and examples of their past work. It’s during this stage that you’re likely to find a company that suits your specific tastes and one that has experience with the style you want to bring into your home. You should consider calling references to ask about the process and the homeowners’ experiences with the decorator before, during, and after service.

Arched windows used to be most prevalent in more traditional home styles, like Spanish colonial and Gothic, but they are becoming increasingly popular in modern design. You’ll often find arched windows in new home builds across many styles, including farmhouse and contemporary architecture. This represents a more general trend toward more unique houses with interesting features.

Yes. It’s common to have a combination of knobs and pulls for drawers and cabinets. There are usually a few different-sized cabinet doors or drawer fronts that look better with different scales of handles, or you might prefer one type of handle for a drawer front and a different one for a cabinet door. Be sure to choose handles of the same overall type when you mix and match and avoid using more than three types in one room to make sure everything flows together.
