"Installed roof on new construction home. 1 yr later several problems and signs of leaking. The roof has many low nails, some very low nails and some of those are blown all the way through. There are shingles missing right at the valley and have been missing for a while, the felt is not black at all anymore. There are probably 40 holes through the shingles where the siding installers nailed their pump jacks through the roof. There is a snow valley on the west side of the home where the valley is backwards allowing water to run underneath the snow valley. There are several face nails throughout the roof that were never sealed. There are a few face nails that serve no purpose where someone may have shot a nail gun on accident and did not replace the shingle. Overall the roof has many areas that need addressed. Contractor not taking responsibility. Would NEVER recommend!!"

Generally, you can expect to spend two to six weeks obtaining permits, a week excavating and preparing the land, and about a month or two building the actual pool (including the plumbing and electrical work). Keep in mind that concrete takes around 30 days to cure, but it won’t take nearly as long to install a fiberglass insert or vinyl liner.

A qualified pool contractor who is familiar with local regulations can assess your yard and let you know if it’s feasible to install a pool. Whether or not your yard is suitable for a pool depends on a number of factors, including the size of your yard, the placement of utility lines, your yard’s terrain, and more.
