"This is the second time my husband and I hired Lettie and her team. The service provided was once again outstanding! They took such care with our belongings and showed the upmost respect for personal/sacred family artifacts. Once again, they went above and beyond expectations (including working overtime without adding an additional charge). This is certainly a service and a company that is worth the cost. Our space is much more organized and functional!"

"Had a little difficulty in scheduling as calendar was full, we were out of the house and had to meet them at the house. Their power washer was broken so they used hose and brooms. The end result was the garage was very clean, no dirt, no cob webs. A positive in selling the house. We would use them again."

"The service went very well.  The provider cleaned our exterior windows, storm windows and screens.  The quality was very good and the job was thorough.  The service was provided on a two-story house including some difficult to access windows.  The company brought everything they needed.  As a minor quibble, the cleaners were late but everything else met expectations and I would use them again.

"Above all else, I must comment on the honesty of the provider. I mistakenly paid for the service twice and she quickly refunded $75 to me.  Her actions were greatly appreciated.
As far as the cleaner, the woman who she sent was okay, but she did not get too much done in the three hours. Granted my house was dusty, but the wood floors needed to be wiped clean with a mop or water.  She spent too much time dusting instead of actual cleaning.

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

If you open your garage manually, you don’t need sensors. If you have an automatic garage door opener, sensors are required by law. The federal law UL 325 mandates that all residential garage door openers in the U.S. must include sensors. Designed to prevent accidents and reduce the risk of entrapment, the sensors should be able to reverse the motion of the garage door within two seconds of detecting an obstruction. The sensors are there to keep you, your family, and your belongings safe from a door that might otherwise come down too hard or too fast.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Having a garage can increase the value of your home considerably, even if the garage isn't considered living space. Many people own cars and want a secure place to park their vehicles when they are home.

If you decide to finish your garage and convert it into living space, you may affect your home's value. The livable space may increase your home's square footage, which can help its value. But, giving up the garage space may also negatively affect the sale price of your home.

The best method for painting a garage door depends on the door's design and the finish you want to achieve. For the most professional-looking finish, especially on doors with panels or intricate details, a paint sprayer is an excellent choice. It can easily get into hard-to-reach places and provide a smooth, even coat.

If you don't have a sprayer, or if your door is flat, a combination of a roller and a brush is the most effective approach. Use a roller for the large, flat sections to cover the area quickly and efficiently. For the best results, experts recommend a roller with a nap between ⅜ and ¾ inches thick; natural fibers can also help ensure an even coat.

A brush is essential for handling the finer details. Use it to paint grooves, angles, small panels, and the edges of the door where you need more control.

Regardless of the tools you use, it's a good idea to step back after the main application to review your work and use a detail brush to touch up any missed spots.

You don’t need a garage door opener unless you need or desire the convenience they offer. While you may be able to open some garage doors manually, having a garage door opener makes life a lot easier. There is an exception, though—a motorized opener is an absolute must if you have a two-car garage (or larger), as the door will be too heavy for the average person to lift on their own.
