"Very established company with dedicated, respectful, courtesy employees. One of their products is blown-in insulation. We had them insulate our attic, foundation, and a crawl space under a room which gets cold during winter months. Our home is a large L-Shaped Ranch. It has made a difference in heating of our home. We had them take the old insulation out of the attic, which they vacuumed into bag and hauled away. Home Comfort also offers repair of driveways, where cracks have either sunken or raised the concrete. They repaired the few spots in my driveway, making it where someone won't trip on the crack and fall. I definitely recommend Home Comfort Insulation."

"Everything was fine until I got the final bill. The estimate they gave was different and the final bill was different. They had put extra charges. When I called them about it, they didn't back down. They also said that because of the extra insulation they used they did they couldn't reduce the cost. Other than that, the job was done fine. At one point, the insulation had blown in, they had a little problem, but that was worked out."

"Contacted a few different companies and had two come out to inspect a large crack in the foundation. First company came out and indicated that the foundation had failed and needed piers put in to stablize the foundation. Crawlspace Solutions came in and indicated that they felt there was nothing failing with the foundation and that they could inject the cracks and warranty the work regardless of if there was a larger issue that required piers. Scott was the person that estimated and completed the work. He was extremely responsive and did a very good job of injecting the cracks. When Scott came to quote the work he also offered a price to apply spray foam to the walls and the sill to replace the fiberglass insulation that the previous owner of the house had on the crawlspace walls. Price included in review was to inject 2 cracks and apply the spray foam. Really glad we had the foam insulation put in. Way cleaner, durable and sealed up some areas that the other insulation could not take care of. Scott also spent extra time explaining some other areas to keep an eye out on to help ensure the foundation area is well managed from any further potential issues like down spout discharge locations, hose connections and just general drainage of the property. One of the concerns we had was if we spend all this money on the injection and the foundation ends up needing to have piers put in, how would that impact the warranty. Scott assured us that if any additional settling occurs and the repair fails, they would come back and repair the injected cracks after the foundation was stable."

"The crew was very courteous, they got the job done, I thought the materials were a little high. Overall, they did a great job. I wont know how good the work is until my utility bill comes in. Ameren did the Home Audit for me, and that's what prompted me to get the insulation project done. The project only took a couple days to complete. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
