"Missed a lot of small pea holes in the middle of driveway. Said that is usual, but yet the sides had sealcoating in them and my small cracks. They came out to patch it and well looks awful. My son even told them the spots and they missed almost all of them. Usually they charge $90, but our subdivision had over 30 of us that went in and they charged $75. Over 30 of us are highly disappointed with the quality and false advertising on there flyer."

"I wish we had read his reviews here first. We never would have hired him. More of the same. I ended up coordinating with the subcontractors, and the window and door supplier myself. We only heard from Steve when he wanted another check. Whenever I questioned anything he would belligerently tell me how ungrateful I was. When the wrong window size was delivered, I had to sort it out with the supplier. In an effort to sound like he was in charge, Steve would tell me false updates on the order status. Then become combative when I would tell him what I was told from the supplier. I was essentially bringing Steve up to date on the status of a project he was allegedly G.C-ing. Our project was completed only because I stepped in."

"We had a brand new driveway that had been seal coated one other time. We paid Black Pearl to seal coat the driveway in August. It rained less than 24 hours after seal coating and the temperatures dropped. When I reached out about how this might effect our job.....crickets. Complete silence. We didn't have a single crack in our driveway prior to this job. This company has lousy customer service and has proven to not give a crap about their work. I thought the owner/salesperson was coming back out to take a look at our driveway and instead sent his crew out to draw a few squiggly lines on the driveway which now looks like a patch job. I would absolutely not work with or recommend this company in the future. We had used them a few years prior to having a new driveway. But in my opinion my new sealcoating job is s***. They do not stand behind their work or product."

"The company closed this time last year, but the owner stepped up and did what needed to be done to assist with closing out the rest of the project. Eric Udelhoven is an honest, stand up person that goes above and beyond. It is super unfortunate that the circumstances happened the way that they did with Catalyst, but Eric Udelhoven pushed go get subs into our job, help us with material procurement, and oversee the project on a high level. Even after the business had closed, he helped my wife and i finish the project and didn't charge us for his time. The way it all went down could have been a lot better with respect to the business closing, but we reached out and made contact shortly after everything had gone sideways for them. Ultimately, the process was obviously super bumpy, but we were able to get our first floor renovation finished to a high level of finish with Eric's assistance. I am SUPER happy that i dont have to do any more home repairs in the near future!!! House looks great, but remodeling is super stressful!"
