Customers say: Quick response

"Quick response to come out even though we were late in the holiday season to call. Lights looked great. Was a little worried when the guys came out in the dark to hang the lights but they moved around the roof quickly and efficiently. Didn't have to call for removal and will be on the schedule for early set up next season. Highly recommend."

"This project was to improve the view from my basement windows.  I am in the final phase of finishing my basement into living area. As the interior space approaches completion, I realized I had a problem with the exterior space.
The window under the deck is constantly dirty on the outside.  When it rains, the water drips through the floorboards of the deck and splashes up on the window. I also realized that the grass clippings on the other two windows bothered me as
well.  The subdivision lawn service does not care which way they mow the grass and so I have clippings up on my windows and clippings in my air conditioner coil.  These things were not an issue for me before I converted the space.
I called the Landcaping Plus LLP and scheduled an appointment.  Kelly Tindall had recently
done work for my sister.  Kelly came out.  We discussed my concerns, my wants and looked at the space. The result of the consultation and many talks since is the plan she and her team executed on 1 August 2014.
Kelly came by on 5 July 2014.  She measured everything and we laid out where the garden was planned.  She sprayed the turf to kill it before we planted.  We discussed plants and Kelly quoted me the price.  I decided on hostas and ferns with rock under the deck and mulch out in the garden area,  Plants used were
Winter creeper golden euonymus
Winter Gem boxwoods
Weeping cherry
Hydrangeas
Stella d?oro lilies
Daisies
Garden phlox
On go day, ! August 2014, Kelly and her team of 3 were here just after 7 am as promised.  They immediately started working under the deck, planting the ferns and hostas.  The rest of the plants were placed in the garden area according to the plan.  I also had Kelly put in an irrigation systems for the garden, mostly to make sure the hydrangeas got enough water.  About 10:30 am,  Kelly left to get more rock and the mulch.  Her team took a lunch break then.
We ended up with a couple of extra plants and Kelly had her team plan those in my front yard garden area.  They were all done and the area cleaned up by 2 pm.
The plants Kelly provided were beautiful and high quality.
I no longer have a muddy window or windows full of grass clippings.  Instead, I have a beautiful garden to enjoy from my basement or from my deck.

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

If you need help with your holiday decorating, the first step is determining your lighting and decor needs to narrow down your pro options. For example, if you want a custom outdoor light display with all of the bells and whistles, you’ll likely need to hire a local holiday light installer who specializes in that service. But if you only need to hang some lights inside in hard-to-reach places, consider hiring a handyperson or an interior decorator instead. It’s best to contact at least three different companies for quotes and to find out what services they offer.

It’s unnecessary to tip holiday decorators, and most professionals won’t expect it, but it’s a nice gesture to show your appreciation for their work. If the expert goes above and beyond to keep your delicate decorations safe, or they’re hanging your exterior lights and putting out lawn decorations in freezing temperatures or inclement weather, a tip between 10% and 20% of your total will be appreciated. Large jobs that include interior and exterior work are also good opportunities to tip, especially if your expert is performing a rush job close to the holidays.

Professionals use the same methods found in this guide unless they’re decorating a particularly large Christmas tree. In that case, they may also make use of tools like extension poles to get the job done.

While Christmas lights are a wonderful way to light up your home during the holiday season, they don’t have a long lifespan. Most incandescent Christmas light bulbs are designed to last between 1,000 and 1,500 hours—or about one to three holiday seasons. More durable LED bulbs should last about 10 times as long.

You can tackle hanging Christmas lights yourself with the right tools, accessories, and a trusted friend or neighbor. You’ll need to purchase a ladder ($100 to $300), clips ($10 to $20), hooks ($10 to $15), and lights ($25 to $100 per string).

Otherwise, you should hire a trusted holiday light installer near you. You’ll pay an average price of $200 to $650, but you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the job is done correctly and safely.
