They did such an excellent job and the closets and pantry have held up beautifully, so it was a no-brainer to have them complete my primary bedroom walk-in closet this month. Tammy is a pro and probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet! She remembered exactly who I was, even after a few years, and pulled up the previous design for my primary closet. We tweaked a few things to ensure I was happy and booked the install. The installers showed up on time, wore shoe covers without me asking, were very friendly, and completed my closet perfectly. I love it! I plan on working with Chicagoland Home Products in the future and recommend them to everyone."

"Drake was hired to strip and refinish painted exterior railings on a deck in the Fall of 2024. While the ?finished? railings looked good in the short term on inspection for payment, the workmanship did not hold up and the paint has been falling off and chipping in huge chunks. What is easy to understand is that paint hides a lot of shoddy work. I wish I would been more experienced and realized that this could be done so poorly. I do not think they actually stripped and primed the railings before just slathering a heavy vat of paint over the old paint."

"I hired Mission 2 Organize to help organize my garage which was a total mess. They helped organize efficiently, took away lots of bags of things to donate as well as bags of trash. They put labels on everything so that we could create systems that would last. I had them return again to do my kitchen! With 3 small kids it has been hard to adjust to changing needs (from twin babies to toddlers to older toddler) so we had a variety of kid items that needed sorting. Again, they set up things that would work for us long term and it has helped us maintain it and generally keep our kitchen itself much cleaner! The team is very friendly, arrive on time, and also offer helpful suggestions like organizing products to purchase (not from them either, it's just helpful tips). I am already planning the next package we will purchase to have them help organize our home."

"We loved working with Ibro! He is super responsive, which is something people are usually concerned about when it comes to working with a contractor. Any time we had any questions or concerns, Ibro would call almost immediately. He showed up on time every day we expected and was always very neat & tidy with his work space. Our project costed about what we expected, and he does beautiful work! He renovated our primary bathroom and closet, and it’s everything we hoped it would be and more! "We hired Design Invention to remodel an outdated Master Bathroom. We contacted a total of 6 contractors to get estimates on the work. We found that most of the estimates fell into one of two categories. Some contractors were pushing us towards specific design choices beyond what we originally wanted. These contractor were all the most expensive and were insistent on making the material choices through their suppliers. The other set of contractors provided little feedback on suggestions on what to do or not do. They seemed to be ready to come in do the work and get paid. The thing we found with Peter was that he was the only contractor we contacted who understood what we wanted but also was willing to make useful suggestions on things we had not considered and at a cost that would not push our job way over our budget. Peter also was very flexible with letting us pick our own materials and contacted us to his suppliers for contractor discount. In the end, we used a combination of material from Peter's suppliers, Home Depot, and Amazon. Overall, Peter was always very mindful of costs related to material and additional work and was never pushy to force us to pick one option over another. After agreeing to his estimate, it took about 3 months to get on his schedule to do the work. Once the work started, it took about 2 weeks to complete which was within scope of Peter's estimate when we discussed the work. Each day at least one worker would come and make progress. On some days (demolition, install tub, etc), additional workers came but overall there was never any day that progress was not being made. In addition to the main worker, there were specialist that came in for various parts of the job (tile person, plumbers, shower glass, granite countertop). All of them seemed to be professional and took care to clean up and minimize the mess. Overall, we were very satisfied with the remodel. There were a few minor issues but Peter was very responsive in getting them resolved. We found working with Peter a very good experience. He was knowledgeable, offered good suggestions, was mindful of costs, and very responsive. We will keep Design Invention in mind for remodels of our other bathrooms and kitchen in the future."
