Chicago & North Suburban Handyman LLC is an owner-operated handyman business run by Jaime Gutierrez. I've been a handyman to some degree my whole life. Since I was a kid, my parents were landlords, so I was always replacing stuff, painting, switching and swapping, building or demo'ing. My very first job was at a hardware store when I was 14 years old. I learn a bunch of cool stuff there that I still use to this day. I went to college and tried working in an office after graduating, but I never enjoyed what I was doing. I knew I could do some pretty cool stuff with my hands power tools. So I went into residential maintenance. I worked as a technician and supervisor for multiple 500-unit apartment complexes. Now I've taken the leap and am running my own show.
