I never felt like he was trying to up-sell me, nor did I think he was trying to undercut competitors just to get work. The bid was a little higher than I had budgeted for, but still realistic. He was even able to figure out the best solution for our ceiling lighting which was a challenge since we didn't have enough space for full recessed lights. Once I had called the office to make my down payment, they called to schedule the start of the work before I expected them to, which was a welcomed surprise. Colin did most of the work in our home. He was pleasant, professional, clean, and was able to complete the rough-in without any issues. Rough-in passed inspection on the first try, and I scheduled the final for after drywall had been installed. Colin returned for the finish and had everything completed in one day. The next day, we passed final inspection with no issues. We are very happy with the work, and everything works as described. I had used other companies with less desirable results. I will continue to use Streib for all of my future electrical needs."

I had attempted to move a light switch myself for a kitchen backsplash project and realized I was over my head.
So I called Richard to help.  He was extremely punctual answered immediately and stopped by the next day to look light switch relocation to see what he would need to complete project.
Even though I wasn't his only project he came back and got the project done a couple days later.  Not used to turnarounds that quickly.  In our original discussions, we has just discussed having him rewire and relocate the light switch, but later I also wanted his help with drywall.  He nicely included the drywall work into the project, it was great that he went above what we originally had agreed on.
Quality wise Richard was using the best components.  He could have used cheaper parts but instead he used best pieces to make sure it was the highest quality project.  For electrical work that is a big deal to me.  It was also nice the he wasn't shy with explaining his techniques to me.
We will definitely use Richard for projects in the future and would recommend him to anyone else looking for someone that can handle any sort of house projects.

"Josh and his men put up about 1000 sq feet of suspended ceiling in my basement to include 9 light troffers and 3 can lights, hooked up my vents I had ready for them, and also put in some wood to fill along some soffit area so I can install trim later.  They even pulled down the orignal wiring for the smoke detector and got that set up in the bedroom down there.  They did an awesome job - I just can say enough good about these guys.
