Bathtub Liner or Shower Surround Installation and Replacement
If you are dependent on a chair lift - think twice before a purchase from Leaf. Our, two month old, Leaf home safety solutions lift died 6 ft up on the evening after Christmas (12-26-24) - called and had to leave a message as the Service center is only open M-F 8 to 4:30. Got a call back the next morning that promised a speedy call to schedule repair. No call until Monday. Tuesday the repairman came - tested the entire unit - checked with the manufacturer twice and did more tests and finally established that the motor must be defective and a whole new unit was being ordered but because of the New Year?s holiday the unit may not be available until the next week (01-06-25). Well here we are at the end of that week with no replacement. I called again and was only promised a return call - sometime! Sooo two weeks without a chair lift.

My shower install was approximately 11.5K for just the shower and, of course, the removal of the bathtub area only. The shower bench squeaks and the basin makes a popping sound when the heat or air comes on. Itâ s an expanding and contracting sound, constant, daily! I was assured that the bench is going nowhereâ ¦it is bolted into the studs and the popping sound they could not explain (he, I should say, Install Manager). So, I was asked if I was happy overall and I said aesthetically it is pleasing , but I have to put up with the squeaky bench and popping sound constantly. But then, I noticed that there are two not obvious areas that were not called and the caulking that was applied has changed color after ONE year. I was told, after I tried several cleaning hacks, that I would be charged $150.00 for them to come out and replace the caulking, but they will bring extra caulking to finish the job! I wanted to climb through the phone. I did see, after it was pointed out to me, in fine print that they would charge for caulking replacement due to neglect, but I live alone and I clean it regularlyâ ¦As a customer who paid cash and did not receive the complete caulking job done correctly and the existing caulk has turnedâ ¦.the fact that I would be charged for this on top of the other issues, just enrages me! I was told that I could not speak to anyone else higher than the two reps. I complained to which I find very hard to believe. Overall, I am disgusted, for I did something, I thought, would not only make me safer, but improve the value of the home. All of the associates that were assigned to my project are gone and the new oneâ s didnâ t seem to care! I am not happy!!

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Leaf Home Solutions. I initially paid a substantial $3,000 deposit for a bathroom shower remodel, expecting a level of professionalism and communication that would match the size of the investment. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite their eagerness to accept my deposit, Leaf Home Solutions failed miserably in delivering on their promises. After I had taken three days off from work to be present for the bathroom remodel, I was left in the dark. No one bothered to contact me to confirm the appointment, provide any updates, or even notify me if there was a change in plans. I have made six phone calls and sent multiple emails in an attempt to cancel the work order, each time receiving nothing but the runaround. I have been repeatedly told that **someone from operations will contact me,** but that promise has yet to be fulfilled. This clear breakdown in communication is utterly unacceptable. The quickness with which Leaf Home Solutions took my hard-earned money and the total lack of results or follow-through is inexcusable. I am beyond frustrated and angry with the actions (or lack thereof) of this company. It is evident that they prioritize taking customers money over providing the services they promised. My experience with Leaf Home Solutions has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with them. IM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE!!"

The project took 4 days to complete, but the installer was quite pleasant and explained everything that I questioned. Cleanup was maintained during the project and was very good.

They had no respect for my home. Started work late everyday (1-2pm) Ask me for money to buy their Materials. Left wires exposed.. I have people with disabilities in my home.Told me to get a porta-Potty for my family to use for days and days while they work.Even though they were working in the bathroom only, they destroyed my livingroom carpet. I can go on and on but they are still working in my home. I would stop them but they have my money and I dont have more money for another contractor. I'm praying they will finish and the work will be done satisfactory. I will report them to the BBB. Also I will never use Angi Home Advisors again

Where to start! First of all everything that was ordered for our new shower was delivered as wrong. Sizes were wrong, materials wrong, color of the fixtures wrong and no shower door. Since the old tub and shower was torn out they had to install the new / wrong materials as husband had major surgery and needed to be able to use the shower albeit not what was ordered. Materials were reordered and we had to wait a few more weeks for the replacement materials. They came back tore out original new materials and redid with the new materials which were the correct materials the second time except for 1 big item which was the glass door. Although they did offer some upgrades with the second delivery when the glass door was installed it came as bit of a shock at the inferior quality of the door. Very thin glass, not frameless as ordered, not coated glass to prevent spots as ordered, magnet on door failed in a few days. water leaks under tiny track that hold the glass at the base. Glass is wobbly and looks like it belongs in a very low end builder grade house. I honestly can say that Mark the installer and his crew did a great job work wise so t here is no issue with him or the work . The workers were friendly and polite and cleaned up after themselves. It is the quality of the door, multiple big mistakes on the order + having to go through the mess and clean up of tear outs twice and all the noise and chaos 2 x. For what we paid for the job which was top dollar we expected more in the door quality and certainly a whole lot less in the way of mistakes. Have contacted the company about the door an no response back yet. I have checked doors at depot and Lowes and even their low end frameless shower doors are better quality than what we received. Very disappointing and costly experience.

You should be aware that if you get an acrylic shower pan it will flex and creak when you walk on it. It is irritating but the quality is good. There must be a way to put something under it to eliminate these issues but the installer claimed it had to be that way to cope with the changing temperatures. Otherwise the company was good to work with, the quality of work was fine, and they did it on time.

all bath places want to sell you the best and most expensive product, so tell them up front what you want to spend to save everyone time. I still think it was pricey, but less than others quoted. the work took 2 days, and was good. we could still use the bathroom most of the time, so we did not have to move out. they were supposed to install a grab bar we had, and did not, but not a huge deal. the convenience is much better to get in and out of the shower! love the look and the shower bench that holds up to 350lbs.

They told us the shower wall was made for their company when you can buy it through Lowes or Home Depot. Installer did a good job but was very messy. Left silicone sealer on the walls, tracked mud into the house, then argued with my wife about what shower curtain and hooks we had to use.

very sloppy caulk job and it is turning yellow, trim does not line up from wall to wall, the tub handle is not flush, not worth 10 grand for sure. I do not think I will be paying for it.

The job started out good and the contractors were pleasant compliant with wearing mask and shoe covers, but once they put up the green-wall (sheetrock) the job declined. The white panels that were installed had scratches and scuff marks on it and when they came back to replace one (not all) of the panels, the new panel was cracked, so they could not install it. Also the caulking job was horrible, so I called LHSS customer services with a complaint before I made a decision whether or not to have them return and I have not heard from them since. The installation was not done with good workmanship and my 91 year old mother is now afraid to allow them to return out of fear that they will damage her property because I filed a complaint. I definitely feel like we were overcharged for the material that they used and asked the salesperson for a financial breakdown of all of the materials that were used and he and his outsourced partner ignored my request, so I definitely feel like we were ripped off. Therefore, I would never recommend this company to anyone. I would recommended that buyers do their homework, make sure that all the materials that you are purchasing meet all of your needs and ask for a financial breakdown of those materials including the lost. Hard lesson learned for $8,500 walk in shower only! Shame on them.
